Join the new world

For those who read my previous article, you know that I am relatively new to this day's game. Much of the way the game is played is different and I do indeed have a lot of reading up to do. There is however, a core aspect of the game that will never change, and that is the social aspect of its practice.

eRepublik revolves around the essence that we as separate entities can work together across the globe to create an online nation, that is secure both militarily, economically and politicaly unlike so many real nations in the world today.

If one views eRepublik as a microcosm of the modern world, then there is, as in real life a drastic need for governmental leadership and social understanding. When I last left the game the nation was in a state of social security with a very community based method of play. This has now disintergrated.

I endeavor to remedy this. "How?" I hear you cry. My answer is: by promoting a community based nation, in which our priories are not expansionistic nor with ideas of global autocracy (I will not name the players who had such beliefs).

I am still learning the ropes of this new eRepublik, but it is clear to me, essentially, an educated newbie, that to begin this process an active group of players need to be instated into congress.

I have heard through other papers (shout out to Bholenath Your text to link here... ) that the current congress up until today has been inactive.

For those of you with expansionistic aims, and quests for a virtual lebensraum, your dreams wil not be realized unless we as a community cooperate to our full extent (as our lives permit). For those who wish to sit on the sides- as I have previously done- then get up, get active or get out. And for those who are active patriotic players I applaud you.

So I implore you make the right decision in today's election, vote for the active members who will make a difference. I am not promoting a party, not any player in particular. I am promoting the nation. I'll call it (ad ignoramus) Operation Wakeup or Op Whiskey for the fun of it.

For the nation get with the Whiskey, get active and do your duty.Good luck mates, vote well and for the country.
