To the People of Norway

It's not often I write, anymore - I don't even have citizenship, at the moment! - but I have something important to say.



Sweden recently declared Norway unallowed to have a Congress. With a resounding "no," I'm proud to see EDEN and Norway banding together through RWs to establish our right in this eWorld.

We are strong when we need to be.

Norway and Sweden were founding members of EDEN; their brotherhood extended back to the early days of this game's start. However, in light of this year's recent events, Sweden left EDEN to pursue other interests with Poland and Spain to join the likes of those they once called enemies.

Norway (and Finland) did not, and as a result have continued to throw their support behind the nations of EDEN and TERRA. Although small, every country matters in some hint of importance.

Every time Norway deals any kind of damage or starts a RW against Sweden, that's a damage drain they have to deal with; every time EDEN throws a massive amount of support against Sweden and ONE, that's another battle they have to worry about; and every single person, militia, and nation matters toward the greater scheme of things.

Norway's place in EDEN isn't large: We're a small country. But the place we hold as brothers to Finland, Romania, Greece, Canada, and all the others establishes our position in the ongoing wars around the globe.

As Sweden continues to push on Norway to succumb to their empire of tyranny, the chance of a babyboom decreases and the real life Norwegians have less a chance to enjoy a fruitful nation. At the same time, the presence of a threat produces a feeling of rebellion. Like the Americans experienced in the summer invasion of 2009, Norwegians have an opportunity to extend to friends and family eRepublik as a game to play and fight back.

I stand behind Christopher Moe not because he's right or because everything he does is utterly perfect, but because he stands up for Norway for who we want to be.

If the people of Norway don't want to leave EDEN and become a puppet of Sweden, so be it. I trust him to stand tall and represent our interests to both Sweden and EDEN, and to enforce our power and individuality to the eWorld.

Stand tall, Norway.

Keep winning Resistance Wars.
