To Arms Citizens of the Free World!

Once again I have renamed this newspaper from 'The Workers' Cause' to 'Spartakusbund' this time. This is in order to draw attention to war in Germany against Swedish and Polish imperialism. I shall revert back to 'The Workers' Cause' once the war is won. Spartakusbund was the name of the Spartacist uprising in Germany during January 1919 lead by Karl Liebknecht and Rosa Luxemburg against repression and for freedom.

There is talk of peace negotiations with Sweden among some members of the British government. However, the terms do not include a return of all sovereign German Land back to it's people or for an end of fighting between Sweden and Germany, instead the UK will simply allow Sweden to do as it likes with Germany. They seem to be forgetting that Sweden's attack on Germany was unprovoked, was it not? Why should we make any peace on their terms. We must fight till all German territory is returned and they pay some form of reparations for their blatant imperialism. We can't be seen to be giving in to these tyrants surely. They're criminals. You don't negotiate with criminals. We have to ask why has Sweden offered Britain peace? Out of the goodness of their hearts? Ha! As if. They want peace now because they know that their advance is unsustainable and that they will soon outreach themselves. Well I say keep on fighting and let them. Those who live by the sword will die by the sword. If you start an unprovoked war you must be prepared to face the consequences. If we let them get away with it this time then next time maybe it will be our territory that they are stealing. No peace until they concede defeat.

"And what of our good?" I hear them ask. I say to those who care not for other nations that it is a common good. An injury to one is an injury to all. No nation can truly be an island isolated from others. We have to teach Sweden a lesson and set an example to others. Britain will NOT tolerate imperialism. They're showing no signs of wanting to stop and are just trying to weaken our stance and throw us off balance. They want us to abandon our ally and let Germany be raped by their tyranny. Well I say no more! I say up yours Sweden! We will not let you bully smaller nations anymore.

Our inaction against Sweden and Poland is bringing shame on our government and dishonour on our country. Let us retrieve some of the respect that we have lost by abandoning Germany, by coming to it's aid now at it's hour of most need like we promised we would. We must abandon this talk of peace. Tyrants do not make peace, they only make war. Peace today will only mean war tomorrow. We have to fight now for a permanent peace. We cannot go making deals with a country that has shown no respect for deals in the past. What would be the point? A promise from Sweden is a paper promise and they'll screw it up in their fist just as they did by invading Germany in the first place. We have to act now while there is still a Germany to save. For justice, sovereignty, freedom, peace and for the greatest good. Today Sweden seeks to destroy Germany, tomorrow why not the UK?

And to the soldiers of Germany, wherever you may be, arise! Do not lose heart for you still have friends who are willing to fight for the freedom of all.
