We had a successful month of May. In fact, in my humble opinion, the USA had a VERY productive month. We finished a major reorganization of the national military. We put a very strong exclamation point on our ATO operations and even assisted UK while they are under threat of PTO. Domestically, everything we have and do is considered to be at the forefront of retention and welfare programming. (Thanks to all who contributed, even a little, to those efforts.)

Granted we had a few things that didn’t quite pan out while our focus was necessarily drawn elsewhere. We were never able to establish even a midterm strategic plan. Instead we were reacting and plugging holes. We also did not communicate with each other, or with the nation, as well as I was hoping or promised.

May was also driven a lot by reacting to unforeseen circumstances; many of which proved to be terrible time sinks. We overcame systematic attacks on the USAF and prominent government officials by IRC hackers. We put an end to an unhealthy relationship with our alliance. We made a policy decision to end our war with Canada in order to better focus firepower for friends and allies for a while.

None of those things were in the game plan when I took office on May 5. By necessity, they are all part of the game plan now. We will be shoring up our relationships with those who are likeminded and would stand with us while we rebuild with those whom we have had misunderstandings and have been at cross purposes with. We will work hard to get our technologies sorted out and locked down. We will be working toward replacing the bonuses to which many have become accustomed in the previous months. We will continue to stand up for ourselves and endeavor to be world-oriented in our outlook and purpose.

May was full of successes and surprises, even a few disappointments. We have a month of finding and rebuilding ahead of us; a month of fulfillment and hopefully fun. Look ahead to many more successes on the horizon. On the 5th, vote Molly Emma for Country President.
