Time to leave

This has been a long time coming, probably over a year that I have been thinking of quitting. Each time I have told myself the admins are going to fix it, the economy can't suck forever, congressional elections have to be more interesting again, the game will become fun again...

Yet, each time nothing happens....

We have all played games where new stuff gets introduced which makes old stuff not as good, and this is a good thing, the natural progression of a game. However this is the only game I have ever played where old stuff becomes obsolete so fast.

The main reason I stopped playing and started two clicking is because the Admins ruined congressional elections when instead of making an easy fix to a problem (at the time it was easy to PTO congressional elections by finding a state a party didn't have a blocker in and running there, the easiest solution would have been to allow parties to not run a candidate) they decided to blow the whole system up and get rid of head to head elections (and subsequently campaign articles) which was one of the few fun things remaining in this game. We now have a simpler and less fun type of election system....

But if didn't stop there. Some of you may remember the military module before divisions were introduced, where everyone competed against everyone for BH's meaning that newer players never stood a chance of obtaining a medal. Due to this I set my account up to be more economic and less militatistic leaving me with very little strength. Even when the divisions came out I was still struggling to get a BH, but I didn't mind because I was making lots of money off of the markets. Back then gold was over 2000 cc per 1 gold, you could find a job for over 300 dollars a day, and I probably made 1000 dollars a day from selling excess supplies and working the monetary market. This was kept up artificially by a bot and we all knew that something had to change at some point. But no one expected the economy to get this bad after the admins made their changes.

So fast forward to now, I am now in division 4 with a fraction of the strength of the players I am competing with for BH medals and the economic game I decided to play has made my account worthless due to the admins not wanting this game to have an economy.

It would actually be easier for me to start a new account and build it for the way the game is being played. Yeah, you read that right, and I am not the only one that feels this way. How many games have you ever played has the game changed so much thiat all the time and effort you spend on something becomes absolutely worthless down the road. And I can't even complain about probably the biggest gripe players have with work skill because lucky for me I was not around for that.

And even though starting over sounds like a good plan, I can't. Based on the way things have gone I could start off building up lots of strength and gain lots of BHs in D1 and D2, but how long is it going to be until something bad happens (like the admins taking away strength....) and my new account becomes obsolete as well.

I spent a lot of time in this game, made a lot of friends, had some good times, and enjoyed myself a lot. But none of the good things happened because of the game, they happened because of the people in the game (sorry but there are too many of you to name) which is why this decision was so hard.

I have been two clicking for so long hoping things would change, hoping the admins might listen to the players and make the game more fun and interesting. But the have shown they don't really care and I have finally decided enough is enough.

I do have a lot of stuff though (I suppose two clicking does have its advantages) and will be giving stuff to people I remember, so don't be surprised if you see some gifts from me. I don't have a use for them so maybe you will. Stuff will be given away randomly to people on my friends list (if your not my friend don't waste your time trying to friend me because I don't care) and then anything else will be given to orgs that will help eUS citizens (again don't bug me or you won't get anything).

And with that I say goodbye to everyone and good luck. I hope for your sake some things change in this game but I will not be sticking around any longer hoping they do.

Alright, nearly everything gone now. By my counts over 180 donations to people in various forms and amounts. Total numbers were over 100,000 USD, over 4,000 Q4 weapons, about 3500 Q3 weapons, a little over 2,000 Q2 weapons, around 8,000 Q5 food units and then smaller numbers of other weapons/food units. No gold as the stupid limit is still in the game, so it was all converted to cash. Put it to good use everyone and what little bit I have left and whatever cash comes back to me (if people don't accept the offer in the 3 days they have) will all go to EZC.
