Our President chooses to stand his ground in negotiation with the US on land swaps, this I guess was his strategy, I can’t say for sure. Some were quick to attack him for his apparent strategy. I’m sure by now everyone is has most of the details since most of the PM’s and IRC logs have been shared in public areas. All this open sharing of info seems strange considering how some individuals in the recent past remained tight lipped when requests for information were made of them, but when the shoe is on the other foot they are quick to post PM and IRC log contents.
The US leaders may not be used to people standing their ground. Another point to ponder is as fast as these talks broke down; what if these talks were intended to fail in order to create political gains for some. In that case the action of these individuals will only cause a rift within Canada and erode at the nation’s credibility.
I say time out Canada and think twice about who has the nations interests best in mind, before you click that vote button in the future. Perhaps the one that screams me, me the loudest should be the one you run, run away from the fastest.

Great article, and I agree that the whole eUS negotiation was a set up. Some people will do anything to create problems in Canada because it is the most important nation in eRepublik.
