Time, Life, and the eRep military

Day 621, 18:52 Published in USA USA by Knojerakk

In the past days i have heard attacks in all directions. Everything from "The military leaders of this country have failed us" to "shut it, you have no clue what you are talking about."

This article is not to attack anyone, it is simply to give you an insight in to the lives of your military commanders. For to command the eUS Military can be considered a job worse than death.
As CO of the US Army i have dedicated countless hours to the US Military, most of which has been greeted with complaints, i really do not mind this, i know you can not please everyone.

A typical day for me and many other military commanders is to wake up in the morning before work to post orders and try to keep everyone in formed. Then we have to go to work, yes some of us have real jobs. For the next 8 or so hours we may receive email updates or we may be able to check various boards. Normally this is greeted with complaints of "where are my supplies" or "the battle has ended and waiting is to stressful."
After our day of real work we come home and what awaits us? More complaints and issues!!!! Again i really understand you cant please anyone any of the time in the US military. But we always do our best to anyway. There are times when we are left on our own to distribute thousands of weapons to soldiers because there is no one else around who can. If you have ever distributed items to 20 people you would most likely get pretty sick of it, try a few hundred.

I give this brief summary for you to understand, we are not the g-ds we wish to be. We are limited by many standard things that affect everyone such as money and time, there are also intangible factors that must be dealt with such as personal greed and morale. The more people think of themselves, the greater these problems become. I cant tell you how many times i have had to deny soldiers from the military because working out side of the US makes more money. Personal greed will only lead to defeat in this game. Whether it is greed for money, power, or fame; actions of personal justification will only strengthen our foes, divide our allies, and frustrate our selves.
Some of you may take this as my attempt at personal justification, however I do not seek anything from this, i only ask you to take others lives into consideration before you flame or denounce them. I may be a soldier in the emilitary, but as lame as it sounds, respect is my weapon of choice.

If the US seeks to win, we must come together and put ego to the side. We all seek a common purpose at this time, although there will be those who use strife for personal gain. There is also no reason you can not voice dissent in times of war. The important part is to be mindful and understanding of what you are truly saying, and it never hurts to do some research into the lives of those you are attacking. After all, is this game worth straining your relationship with your wife or fiance? What about spending less time with your children? There are many people in this game who make these sacrifices to help the ecountry out and ask for no recognition. They never make it known the personal sacrifices they make in attempts to please the masses. As someone who recognizes the sacrifices that both my officers and those officers senior to me make, I thank them.

My closing points are simple: maintain civility no matter how angry you are, respect those who are working their *s*s off to make this game more enjoyable for you, and as always be the change that you want. This is not a time or place for arm chair generals, if you have ideas get involved.

This war has nothing to do with PEACE, this war has to do with our ability to form relationships with others. To stand alone is to die alone.
