Time for Mad Pauly's UKPP Interview
MrBunty
It's time for another interview with a member of the UKPP. It was Mad Pauly's turn this time and I wanted to know a bit about his history and any plans he has for the future in the Party and the eUK.
I started off with a nice easy question; why the cat obsession?
- I'm not obsessed. Cats are just the greatest thing ever invented. You only need to trawl the interwebs to discover that.
Unlike many people I see that are eUK citizens, Mad Pauly also lives in the eUK, and I wanted to know why he had didn't live some place else.
- I'm from the country and saw no reason to go elsewhere. Maybe in the future, I'll visit exotic locales, but I'm happy here for now. And too lazy to move.
I then asked if he had aspirations to become the President?
- Hahahahahahahaha.
(Definitely not obsessed)
That's a no, by the way. Too much like hard work.
(Well that clears that up.)
And to finish off, I wanted his opinion on how things were going currently and how they might fare in the future.
Are you pleased with the current eUK and UKPP leadership?
- eUK? Not really. The government seems to think that throwing paltry COs at the first battle is going to win. The truth of the matter is, without people such as Alfa or (love him or hate him) SerF throwing silly amounts of money at battles, we're going to face the same old same old over and over.
UKPP leadership? Well, the last PP was a decent chap. Did competitions and all that. The current bloke isn't too bad for a simian. Could be a lot worse, such as the two months of petty dictatorship we had last year under a so-called "king".
Is the UKPP likely to win an election in the near future, and why?
- Not with the current state of affairs. We were probably never the most active party but used to win elections through sheer weight of numbers. Events of the past year have seen many leave, quit or die. The rot has stopped over recent months, but activity remains worryingly low, though we'll be there or thereabouts in Congress, I'm sure.
UKPP CP candidates have been relatively thin on the ground recently - Willy proposed himself and was comprehensively trounced, but Neil Lewis had a pretty strong couple of runs. It would appear that if you aren't in a certain clique of late, you aren't going to be head of government.
I'll be interviewing the so-called King William next which should be interesting. Stay tuned for more interviews of your UKPP members.
Thank you

Seems like a thoroughly decent cat. I look forward to your next interview with a great deal of interest...
scarfar. wasn't nifty and won. Neil Lewis, got out voted, deal with it.
You should run Mad Pauly, so you can stop complaining that no one fights against the so called "Clique"
Also mainly because you are the biggest critic, and It would be fun the other way around ;P
Unlike you students, I have this thing called "work" that kind of eats into my time. Had I more time (and more inclination), I'd gladly run (if UKPP put me up for the post, that is). From all I know, being CP takes more than the half hour I tend to put in on a good day here.
I'm a critic of any clique. If it were the BDP (yeah, really "democratic" guys, having the same PP over and over again) or Legion in charge, I'd be critical of them. Someone has to keep government honest. Note, however, that I remain on friendly terms with most individuals in Nifty.
unlike you students. apart from using me as an example a small minority of Nifty actually fall under that banner.
Unlike you students, who, me for example put a solid day of college, 8.30 till 4pm every day, who then comes home and works full time in another job, 6pm until 12pm/1pm depending on the closing time of said establishment. Notice the only times students run for CP is in the holidays ;P (Myself, December and July) I am currently MoFA, correct, because a lot of my jobs is done in PMs which I can check every so often.
I do keep on friendly terms with you, I love ya paul ;P even if your bad at GTA 5 😉
Blah, I'm terrible at any multiplayer shooty games. Give me a nice single player strategy game any day.
for the record, you'd make a good CP as well ;P but yeah, brb collecting my wages and playing fallout ;P
