Time for a Rebirth

Day 2,402, 01:31 Published in Australia Australia by AugustusX

Dear Friends,

It's been a while since I really bothered with this game, and in that time I've noticed a great deal of change - be it to the game itself by Plato, to the world of international relations or eAustralia's place in it. We've seen domestic change with the rise of a 'New Guard' in government holding key positions and taking the responsibility of keeping the country alive. This change is not all bad.

But as all this change occurs, so too must I. As such I have decided to undergo a rebirth. To become a bit more active, get a bit more involved and hopefully rediscover the fun that once existed in our community. In our country.

I don't look at this rebirth as a bad thing, I see it as a good thing. A challenge. You see, after playing this game for a few years, it lost some of that flame. There was no more challenge. I was able to run for Country President and win. I held the post three times. I formed my own party, I formed my own Military Unit. Each successful. I have held just about every post in cabinet from an intern to Minister and towards the end I didn't even have to work for a posting.

Now this is not parading my own trumpet. It's happened to a lot of people. The 'Old Guard' if you will. The whole idea of been there done that. But having taken a good amount of time off two-clicking I find myself on the outside. Most of the people I once knew have gone, both internationally and domestically. We have new parties running the country and new players! It's good to see.

But now I see a challenge ahead, almost as if I were starting this game from Day 1 again. To make connections, take part in government and rebuild my experience. Sure maybe I have a good amount of knowledge, but that knowledge for key jobs is outdated. This is what I intend on fixing.

So in spirit of this whole new rebirth business, I have changed my name, left my party and testing stuff out. I won't say who I was, but some of you might know and it doesn't really matter. Just feels right.

Anyways, that's all from me, see you on the field of battle and in the halls of government soon.

Onwards and Upwards.
