Hello eCanada,
It seems the admins are not making much these days. What a terrible thing!
So what's the most logical solution for solving that tragic problem? Driving up the monetary market and putting a sale on for buying GOLD.
Oh look, they did both of those...
Once again eCanada, don't support the admins and their sneaky money-grabbing scheme. Don't buy GOLD, even though the sale looks tempting!
Hopefully the admins will realize that people aren't buying anymore and they'll lower the MM price, but until then no real life money for GOLD!

If nobody buys Gold, then the value of the CAD to Gold will never rise. As such, the CAD will continue to sink against ever more valuable and scarce Gold supply.
Buying GOLD from the admins won't help at all?
I agree with Bear Stearns. I would also like to add that eRepublik is a business with paid employees. Realistically if money doesn't come in the door, jobs can be cut impacting everyone's experience or even worse, the plug can be pulled altogether. I'm oblivious to their financial standing, but I could assume that operating their server(s) with high traffic doesn't come cheap. Personally, I could care less about them asking for money, because it covers their operating expenses and I don't get hit with any kind of annoying 3rd party advertising spam 🙂 cheers
Yes, I totally realize they are a profit seeking business, but the ways they use to gain profits I don't agree with. There are many flaws in the game too. If they took a look at all the bugs, multies, hacks or whatever and made this game free of it all, I'd be more then happy to support them. However, that is not the case. Is it a realistic goal? I don't know. But it seems that everywhere you go there are more bugs and exploits and such. They don't seem to care quite as much about the game as they should.
Maybe if the game was more profitable, it would be better?
That's like rewarding bad behavior though.
