This week in eCanada

Day 619, 17:26 Published in Canada Canada by Goran Thrax

It's been a tumultuous week, both for eCanada and all of the eWorld. the inclusion of Citizenship has certainly made life for many eCanadians very interesting, as they have found themselves in-game citizens of those nations that have invaded eCanada, while yet their hearts remain loyal to the true north, strong and free.

Much the same can be said for many new citizens of eCanada that remained here following the political takeover attempt on our congress on day 613. It's unknown just how many new citizens of eCanada remain loyal to PEACE GC and/or it's affiliated nations. This of course includes several members of our nation's Congress. This past week such elements in our Congress have on two occasions attempted to send this nation's much needed tax revenue to organizations outside of our Government's control.

The first was a rather blatant, even humorous attempt to send eleven thousand CAD to the Hungarian Takeover Unit. The second tried to send money to a newly created organization named Reserve of Canada. This organization is not a Government organization, and is not affiliated with any ministry or the Presidency. The majority of Congress that is loyal to eCanada and it's President, successfully defeated both donation attempts. We were also able to later donate all our spare CAD to Revenue Canada, the official organization operated by our Ministry of Finance.

A list of those players who have taken actions not sanctioned by the loyal majority of Congress or the President has been compiled on our forum, I recommend all loyal eCanadians familiarize themselves with these players and take security steps such as checking your friendlists, and watching your shouts and articles. Let's not do anything to make things easier for those nations that are currently taking hostile action against eCanada.

I also recommend that any and all loyal eCanadian citizens sign up for our forum if you haven't already.

Through vigilance, and unified action we can, and will emerge strong and free from this assault on our sovereignty.

Speaker of Congress Goran Thrax
