This month's Dear Leader Elections STINK
TurtleShroom
All right comrades, please tell me...
What's wrong with this picture?
If you said "SINGLE PARTY STATE", you would be ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!
Where's the competition? There are two choices, from the same party, and they pretty much want to do the same thing. The oddball new party of the Hermit Kingdom- "Suck Seed" -seems to have sold itself out to the same party, so we are given two men (or women) to choose as our Dear Leader... -and they essentially want to do all of the same thing.
What sort of lame election is this? Where's the contest? The excitement? The OTHER party nominations?
I've been sitting in the Simida Liberty Party for quite a while. Last month, I ran against Kriny for Party President, and lost. BIG TIME.
...-but why?
KRINY DOESN'T DO ANYTHING.
I mean, yes, she is a great player and she has done many things I'll probably never do- a Battle Hero and a General for example -but for goodness' sakes, she NEVER, EVER does anything with Kriny except maintain a low-key status quo.
She even admits it herself!
"Politics is not my concern... what I am interested is PEOPLE!"
All right, so if she's interested in people, why is she in politics?
Kriny is a great user, but in the Simida Liberty Party,
KRINY DOESN'T DO ANYTHING.
She didn't even propose a President. I've asked several times if I could be our party's nominee. I was shot down the first time, though it was obvious that I needed more experience.
The second time, I tried but was shot down again, with a cryptic response.
So I'll say it. SIMIDA LIBERTY PARTY, do you want a leader? Do you want someone that actually does stuff? Someone that is more active? Someone who is going to let you run for Congress precisely as you have done every time without fail?
VOTE TURTLESHROOM FOR PARTY PRESIDENT, AND HE WILL MAKE SURE THAT THESE LAME SINGLE-PARTY DEAR LEADER ELECTIONS WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. EVER.

If you support TurtleShroom for next Party Preisdent (and then some beyond), please share this newspaper article with others.
You are not obliged to vote it up or subscribe to my paper, but remember that I subscribe to every paper I read automatically. If you subscribe to me, I would truly be honored.
Besides, I'M CHUCK NORRIS APPROVED.
every month same thing, look at the history of nk - almost nobody did anything for this suffering country - those who did or try were oppressed hard....this is like fallot 2 modoc town...wasteland
I agree completely, Cluster. That's why I want to take over North Korea and make it something to be proud of.
I already fulfilled my campaign promises in Congress. Why those noobs are against a Thirty NK Minimum Wage, I'll NEVER know, because consarn it, THAT'S WHAT EVERYONE PAYS THEIR WORKERS ANYWAY.
TurtleShroom, you have been denied approval as a CP candidate and lost in the PP elections for a reason, or multiple reasons, to be precise.
Firstly, you lack basic understanding of the political arena in eNK. Suck Seed is not a new party. Its name changed recently.
Secondly, you don't think before acting. That's why you launched an NE vote against eSerbia when it was at its high. That is the reason why you want to raise the minimal wage to the level of the usual salary in eNK (and you admit it yourself: "THAT'S WHAT EVERYONE PAYS THEIR WORKERS ANYWAY"), while it makes it impossible to implement communal structures in eNK. That was the reason why you wrote an article promoting aggression against eSK just after a baby-boom occurred there.
Either you feel like pushing every button of the interface thoughtlessly or you deliberately do everything you can to make a swift destruction of eNK take place.
In both cases, MeiFawAn was right when he said you were a political enemy of eNorth Korea.
"Is it wrong for me to want North Korea to one day be a global power like Serbia, China, Hungary, or others?"
Yeah, without the possibility to have a large number of native players joining the game, it is virtually impossible for eNK to ever have a population large enough to compete with those countries.
Just look at our neighbors eChina, eRoC, eSK and eJapan. All four used to have very small populations and three of them had a large increase of population in the last year. This wasn't by in game immigration but by new players joining the game. eJapan has yet to have a baby boom and given the situation of eNK, this cannot happen here.
Ah, I see. Thank you for your insight. 🙂
By the way, if Japan is still tiny... could we take it? 😛
In addition, in the article you demand more power to be given to you, but in the comments you ask me (and e-north koreans, I hope) to give you a break from the responsibilities you got as soon as you became a congressman.
I apologise for not having put it in the previous comment.
All right. Well, now that I am held accountable, I won't make my mistakes again, and I certainly won't do something THIS STUPID a second time.
The commune thing still doesn't make any sense, and I can't really tie minimum wages to a national emergency threat (or why you'd need to change them), nor do I fully understand how salaries and goods are taxed.
After I received a comment, I messaged MeiFawAn, and I am still waiting for a response.

A commune is a group of people in posession of at least one farm, one mine, one food factory and one weapon factory. The owners of the factories donate the products made to other members of the commune, so they don't have to buy food and weapons on the market, so they don't have to pay VAT and very little income tax, as their wages are the lowest possible (i.e., minimum wage), so they get food and weapons cheaper than if they bought them on the market, and are independent from price variations on the market. If the inevitable losses of currency in a commune due to the income tax are low, then the money can be injected in the commune by very seldom sales of surplus materials on the market. And low losses = low income tax * low minimum wage. Communes are very important for military autonomy.
About national emergency response. Imagine a massive intervention on the market or imagine a new sale of gold, which makes the price of national currency rise. In that case, the wages will have to get lower, or the businesses will be unable to hire employees, which will lead to underproduction crisis. To avoid this, we need the wages to remain easily modifiable in both directions. There must be room for an increase, as well as for a decrease of salaries.
