This is the Last Straw
The Irish William Wallace
I am sick and tired of writing well written, long articles then clicking "Publish" and being logged out AUTOMATICALLY! I swear...this has happened at least 5 TIMES and I am sick of it. A few times I remembered to copy & paste, but do I REALLY have to do that? Please fix that damn bug! Vote if you agree with me!
yes, I copied and pasted this so if it were to logged out again...I have it ready

How do you think I feel from writing 5 Presidential manifestos this week and being logged out every time I try and fix scripts and codes? XD
I could only imagine James...they really need to fix it. It is very frustrating for all.
It has been an issue as long as I can remember. Best thing is to use a WP and save all articles to your hard drive.
From one who has done it enough times to learn.
you guys need a P.A.
🙂
eRepublik logs everyone out after a few minutes of inactivity. It's not a bug, it's a security measure.
ALWAYS use microsoft word or a comparable word application to write you articles in FIRST.
THEN, when you're finished, copy and paste it into the newspaper, and publish.
I have problems like that with school papers too...
Professors are not inclined to accept that excuse for a late paper.
Just, remember to write all of your articles in a word program first. You won't get logged out of that.
Robin, no, it's a bug.
I log in to erep, go to paper, paste whole article, post, and am logged out.
I've been logged out cuz of inactivity, this isn't it. It will post your article fine, but it kicks you out of the system.
im logged out once i publish an article. or if i go back and edit after it's published once i finish editing i'm logged out as well.
i assume that;s a bug??
I know I should use a word program, but that isn't what always comes to mind when I get an idea for an article. It is a bug, like James has stated.
@ james. It doesn't really log you out though. It says you are but you can click anything and it'll recognise you're logged in. It's annoying tho. I thought it was a result of them trying to correct the thing this article is drawing attention to but I guess it didnt fix it!
@James
Oh, well that does sound like a bug. Sorry. I haven't written an article in a while.
The admin did send a message before saying the log out is a security measure and not a bug.
Copy & Paste.
Write, copy & paste it to a word doc, click publish. If it goes wrong, it's in the word doc.
Standard.
It's pretty stupid that they haven't got round to fixing something that's so simple yet infuriating.
Exactly Ginge. Do I really have to do that, copy & paste, when it could be so easily fixed.
