I logged on a few moments ago to check my mail see what battles were raging etc. Instead I see the Indonesians doing this cowardly dance of attack retreat every few hours. I know they are just doing for Russia what the Canadians are doing for us. Trying to buy time. However, I find it cowardly and disgusting. Can nothing be done about this? I confess I do not completely understand the game mechanics of war. For instance the who has the initiative and why is a mystery to me.

The fact that people are talking about losing Nevada and Oregon on purpose so we can defend Arizona and regain the initiative in my opinion highlights that the game mechanics of who has the initiative and why is in need of some overhaul. Let me lay it out from a newb such as myself's perspective. We drive Indonesia all the way to the pacific losing only the battle for california and it appears only doing that for strategic purposes. Indonesia regains the initiative (ok fine we lost a battle I can see that) we defeat them in Arizona then Nevada then Arizona then Nevada then Arizona. It goes on and on. I know they have not been beaten back in Oregon, but it seems to me that by not attacking Oregon the mechanics reward them with a stall tactic that they can just use forever.

Am I missing something? Is there a solution out there I do not see? Other than convincing China and Australia to attack them from behind? I know Indonesia is spending money and gold on this tactic, which is fine, economically they cannot be able to foot the bill of this forever, however, how long can Canada continue to attack and RW a region to stall Russia.

I just wanna kick the invaders out of California so we can shift focus to the Russians and Hungarians. At the moment I just do not see this stalemate ending any time soon.

Several US Resistence Wars have been started in the last several hours, including in Michigan.

There is more going on here than I think is obvious to us Proles...

Those RW were PEACE backed in order to free the regions and stop us from blocking Russia from attacking

The RWs starting are all being started by Russia to create a buffer zone with Canada so they cannot block them. If Russia succeeds then they will be free to attack the US, as they are planning to do.

Canada has taken Idaho, but as of right now there are RWs in Utah and Wyoming, if both succeed then that theater is cut off from Canada by our own states.

So whatever anyone does, DO NOT HELP THE RWs, if you must travel then at least fight to stop the RWs, we WANT Canada to keep on the offensive against Russia!

we need canada to take a few border states and force Russia into a smaller hole. If we can get back New jersey, New York and Pennesylanvia maybe we can turn the tides with a rebuilt spain and greece.

Well, I get what you are saying, and the bottom line is that it's the war mechanics, which are flawed to say the least. There is nothing we can do while they (Indo) have the initiative and atleast two regions to attack (short of having someone else attack Indo like you said). Or unless they mess up on the timing. But other than that, the country with the initiative is king. On the resistance war front, Canada has been blocking Russia from attacking us by attacking them, which is why Russia started all these RW's to try and create a buffer between them and Canada. However, and I won't go into here, but IMHO, this is not going to work out like Russia thinks it will even if they win ALL the RW's. I don't think they thought it through well enough. They're playing checkers, when they should be playing chess.

Im hoping youre right, because Russia is currently eyeing the "Big Prize" of Texas. Heck it might almost work to our advantage if the Russians are so arrogant to win the RWs, and go straight after Texas, thereby taking Indonesia completely out of the picture.

I must admit of all our enemies Russia has always made me the most nervous all those MPPS just make thyem the toughest oponnent we have. At least in my opinion
