Third Day's A Charm
Jacob Ferguson
On this, the third day of my return, I am pleased to say that I'm getting into a groove. I read through some articles that were linked by a friend in a previous post, which led me to make a couple of changes in the way I'm doing things. As I have learned, when living in a smaller town like Richmond, it is helpful to have a Q1 and Q2 house running at all times. I didn't realize that this would both increase my energy pool AND regeneration, allowing me to do more each day and not be penalized by not returning to the world within a couple of hours to refresh.
Fortunately, I was blessed by some gifts from some generous patrons and was able to purchase my Q2 house. I did some quick research and learned that experience is gained by fighting, working, and training, so I have dedicated myself to getting to level 25 as quickly as possible to attempt to participate in the RWs.
Something I still don't understand is why we are asked to support resistance wars for other countries. I have started to GUESS that these RWs with our allies are Training Wars, allowing us to fight to level up and gain abilities, without having hostile relations with the other country, but please correct me if I'm off base.
I am in an odd situation where I'm trying to use my training buildings, but I'm also being told to upgrade them, and I don't have a solid, consistent source of gold to do so yet. So I'm guessing that once I can participate in RWs, the game will open up.
In the meantime, I am using all of my training facilities, working in all of my companies as well as as an employee (twice per day and soon thrice with the new home) and using my remaining energy each day toward whatever battle EZC calls for. I feel like this is an efficient use of my time until I hit 25.
Finally, I want to again thank my patrons, all donators, and my readers for making this experience something more than just showing up to work. And as always, anything I may be missing is welcome in the comments.
EDIT: Notes for D3
- Resistance Wars in other countries we're asked to participate in are for purposes of the Training Wars. Contributing to support the RW before the battle has begun gives the same reward as contributing to support a US RW (5G) and contributing with firepower during the conflict gives kills toward a Freedom Fighter medal ($1000).
- Don't use training grounds above rank 1 until training ground rank 2 is maxed out. This will result in a net loss of gold until the super-soldier medal comes in faster, offsetting the cost. Just train in the free one and when sales come, rank it and the rank 2 training ground up as much as possible.
- Work your factories as a manager every day, if only for the cheaper food and weapons.

Use that for training as it is horrible to use all training facilities unless you have a training contract or I believe are level 200 when they become free. It will show you how much gold per day you gain by equaling out the gain from your strength medal to yout costs of running the higher tier facilities. Play around with it and find out what gives you the best currently with your limited income.
If I'm seeing correctly the best would be only running your free one and your 0.19 gold one and try top get the both up to q4 as then you will gain 0.45 gold a day with how quick you will gain the strength medals, though if you only want to use the free one then with it at q4 you will gain 0.44 gold a day so not a major loss but it will take a few more days
Yeah, that is what I'm seeing. I actually only have the gold cost ones at rank 1 so far, so I'll be running just the free one for now until I get some gold banked up to upgrade them. And I won't upgrade them until there's a sale, right?
That would be smart to wait for a sale, I just am unsure how often they come around. If you have quite a bit saved up and by upgrading one you increase your income quite a bit then you may want to bite the bullet, but you may want to look around or ask other people how often the sales are because if they're super often then definitely wait but if it's once a year then you may want to consider something else.
I think there are several sales for training upgrades each year. Best to wait.
I can't remember the last time they had a sale on training upgrades except for Black Friday. Can someone confirm or correct this?
