Thinking about Geezus Black Market Idea

Day 1,624, 17:00 Published in Japan Japan by Akki

I rarely write, but his interesting program supported by the money from his fellow congressmen in Team Nippon caught my interest enough to write this. (and you can tell I don't pay attention to media enough, as Geezus wrote his article few days back). Original article from Geezus is located at: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/higher-vat-not-for-nippons--2023948/1/20

So, let's see... Total of 37 gold was donated for the cause subtracting Geezus from Team Nippon congressmen.

Assuming that Geezus is losing money with lowered price by the amount he lowered, he loses 0.5 JPY per Q5 food he sells through the Black Market, and he loses 6 JPY per Q6 weapon he sells through the black market. Obviously, this is an upper bound estimate, since the price on market is far greater than the cost it takes to make them (which I know well since I over pay my workers above market average, and still make some profit).

Let's assume that he is able to sell total of 2500 Q5 foods and 200 Q6 Weapons per day through his black market at lowered price just for this calculation. This assumes that 10 people buys maximum amount possible from his black market. I am calculating 1 gold = 1900 JPY.

Total capital Geezus gained through donation = 37 Gold = 70300 JPY

Total amount of money Geezus is losing per day with reduced price = 2400 JPY per day.

With simple algebra, assuming he sells every day, then it will take at least 29 days for him to start losing money in this calculation. Congress election happens every 30 days. what an interesting number.

Of course all the calculation I did is probably optimistic estimate (unless he manages to get far greater interest). Geezus is making more money from the donation (as gold is more valuable than goods) than he will ever lose from his program. He is offering small service for high donation from generous donors.

This is nothing more than a Scam, a 419. If Geezus in near future ever asks you to support some business endeavor to support young citizen of eJapan, just ignore him. What he is doing mainly is to scam you to hand over gold so he himself can profit the gold, while he can reduce supply of market goods which is not very valuable.
