Think before you vote for congress and my congress platform

Day 549, 01:58 Published in South Africa South Africa by Steven Bosch

We are heading for a congress election in two days.

Now, if you're in a political party, I want to urge you to go to your party's forum and find out who the endorsed candidates are. Do not just vote, think about it first.

Most importantly, vote later in the day. I know that many people vote early because that is when they remember, but later votes can be crucial if there is a PTO attempt in order to ensure that we at least have a few candidates with enough votes in stead of no candidates having enough to avert a PTO attempt.

Secondly think about the basis of performance before you vote for congress.
Did this congress member take part in the debates in the congress room in the official national forum ?
Were they active?

Let's firstly vote for a South African congress, and secondly for a congress that is active and that represents this country.

Platform:
At that point I'm also announcing that I am running for a second term of congress in the North West. In the past month I have been active in debating issues, and have asked or followed debates before merely voting on proposals. I also support the drive that an elected congress member serve his full term and hereby pledge (as with the previous election - where I kept my promise):

I, Steven Bosch, pledge upon being elected to the South African Congress to serve out my term and to vote for a majority of legislation. If I leave to fight in protection of our country and her people for any reason I will donate 1 gold piece to the South African Treasury. I will publicly announce my reasons on my paper or through my party's paper and decline from running for office in the next election, if I cannot vote for a majority of my term or leave WITHOUT REASON. I do this to show my commitment to South Africa and her people.

This contract can be found here. I urge other candidates to sign it too.

I would like to add that the only reason, should there be any would be that I leave due to being ordered by the president to do so.

Regards

Steven Bosch
