There is a time to say goodbye.

(This isn’t really targeted at most Israeli readers but rather my South African subs, it’s a goodbye article)

I sit here typing this with 1 wellness left, tired of a game which seems to want to tear my heart out. A game which had so much; a game which has lost so much. I’m not going to go out with a ban, attacking the people who run this game for their stupidity. I simply cannot say anything which hasn’t been said, and ignored. I just want to say what I believe and say goodbye.

I started this game in a mess of confusion, with the Ronelli PTO of eSA. The fight to bring my country back on the map, the fight to help our Australian brothers in their fight. I fell in love with the game because of the massive community aspect, and the fun fighting for your nation brought. I fought the PTO with the pen, because as they say, the pen is mightier than the sword. I made a name for myself in the eSA media, because the media was my section of the game. I fought as a soldier because fighting is what I loved.

There was a time I loved this game; but the changes of the last few months have destroyed that love. So I believe it is time to say goodbye, and leave this game because it is not the game I chose to play.

I played this game like most others did, fighting against what I thought was wrong with the game; fighting against who I thought was wrong. I fought the admins, and had fun doing that because it felt like it was part of the game. I fought cheaters because I felt that was part of the game. But none of that is worth it.

I'd like to thank all of those who made this game special. Those who I became friends with, those who I fought with and those who I fought against. You have all played a part and I thank you for that.

So I say goodbye to all my erep friends. There are too many to mention, and there is too much to say so I’ll end it off here. I’ll pop on IRC every now and then because that is the only thing left I enjoy. I wish all those whose path I crossed the best of luck.
