There. Economy fixed.

Money doesn’t fall from the sky

„Fix the economy! Fix the economy!“ WTF?! What’s there to be fixed? How do you want to fix it? You want to be able to earn vast amounts of money without breaking any sweat? It doesn’t work that way. You have to put your back into it and slave away all day and all night. Nobody will give you riches on a silver platter. There is a supply and demand and game perfectly follows that rule. If you have high supply and low demand it’s normal the prices will be low. And it works the other way around. So stop bitching about it every single day. Admins are even interfering in market economy by introducing a variety of missions in order to boost demand and give you your precious money. It is not your God given right to own a company. Some people know how to run a company and some people don’t. If you don’t know how to run it then don’t cry „fix the economy“ but sell the company and become a simple worker. It’s that simple and it works just like it works in RL. Do you want me to fix the economy? OK, I’ll fix it.

I’ll introduce MPP’s that last only to 30th in a month. And I’ll introduce country ranking system. The game will count influence of a country during a 30 day period. The highest ranking country will get 10 points. The second will get 9, the third 8 and so on. Only after the rankings are finished the countries can make MPP alliances. But there’s a catch. Your alliance can’t have more than 30 points and your alliance can’t have more than 10 members. So if you have this lineup: Serbia (10), Poland (9), USA (8 ), Greece (7), Romania (6), Hungary (5), Croatia (4), Spain (3), Chile (2), China (1) and all other countries (1) it will become much harder to create a super alliance which dominates the world. Serbia could form an alliance with Poland, Romania and Hungary (10+9+6+5=30). Ten smaller countries could form an alliance just as powerful as above mentioned countries. Then it would be increasingly difficult for Serbia and Poland to maintain their 10/10 bonus empires. The production of weapons would be less and demand would increase. There, I fixed it. You don’t like it?

Yeah that’s really important

Aside from „fixing the economy“ this new alliance rule will bring more balance into the game and give us more excitement during battles. I don’t expect you’ll like how I „fixed the economy“ but that’s just because you’re spoiled by bonuses you enjoyed for so long. Take away your sense of invincibility and you’ll be much more into the game. Just like I was 4 years ago. You’ll experience ups and downs, new great battles like those of Lion King, Rhone Alps, North of Brazil. You’ll finally get the feeling the old players had years ago. So screw the economy and your whining. IT’S TIME TO FIGHT!
