A Song for your Troubles

I come to you today with exciting news for some, but very aggravating for others. Yes, the controversial subject of the admin's motion to add two new Balkan Countries. These countries are Albania and Kosovo. The controversy is originating in Serbia's RL issue with whether or not Kosovo is independent or not.

Here are the Facts:
-Kosovo has 85 diplomatic recognitions out of 193 members of the UN (44😵
-They received 22 recognitions out of 27 EU members (81😵
-24 out of 28 NATO member states recognized them (86😵
-26 out of 57 member states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) have recognised Kosovo (46😵

Though, I do not know much of the history between these nations/territories (Whatever you want to call them) I do believe that, since this is a internet game that doesn't effect anything, we should let these nations be free. "Why?" you ask. Because this game is supposed to be fun. Let the people that are dealing with their independence being questioned, have this one piece of happiness. If the people of this region/territory/country/thing want to be independent, then I say "I do not give a *BAD WORD*" If Serbia thinks that it is so terrible for them to be independent, -Invade them-. You are big and tough, right?

I thought they haven't confirmed Kosovo yet? I'm pretty sure they said they were adding Albania but would "talk about Kosovo" or something.

I like how you discuss it in here though. It is what eRepublik is really all about. It doesn't have to directly reflect the real world - that's the point.

Well I know it's a touchy RL subject but my point of view is this.

I know how crap it is to not to have a 'home' in eRep. I waited for eNZ for a year and although I loved my time in eAussie I always knew I didn't really belong anywhere.

It's just a game. If some people want to play in their own country and call it Kosovo, then cool. I for one say let them.

Sounds a good idea Crusadercarl but the reality is that the Serbs or the indos would probably PTO Fiji as well (or maybe even the Poles or the Turks).
Then Australia would have three enemy states around us to gang up on us.
Still, what doesn't kill us just makes us stronger. \o/
