The World Today

Day 1,165, 08:58 Published in South Africa South Africa by Bobady zoo

I haven’t released an article in a while due to real life as well as in game reasons. But I feel that now is the right time to start my as unbiased as possibly daily (possibly) report on what is going on in the world. So sit back, relax and enjoy.

PANAM officially founded

After many months of deliberation and negotiations, Panam was founded. It was confirmed in an announcement by the American president Haliman. The founding members are as expected by many; The United States of America, Brazil, Japan, Argentina and Canada. However it is clear that the alliance will expand into accepting other nations from other parts of the world other than the envisioned American only alliance. There are rumours a plenty over who will be joining next with nations from Turkey to Romania to Greece being tipped to join PANAM. Only time will tell.

US advances through Iran as controversy rears its lovely head

The United States continued its advance through Iran, attacking and pretty much successfully conquering Fars with the Iranians unable to offer much resistance other than winning a few mini-battles throughout the day. However there is much confusion about what the Americans plan to do after the invasion of Iran is complete. There are rumours a plenty that they wished to attack Serbia and wipe them off the map. The Americans had planned to land swap with both Turkey and Bulgaria in order to gain a border with the Serbians in order to start what could be the first major war between newly forming alliances. Turkey would invade a Bulgarian region and the USA would invade the Turkish held region. However the Bulgarian president has released a statement which shows that they will not be willing to partake in this tactical maneuver.

The second problem which comes up is that Turkey is currently under Greek occupation with the Greeks about to attack in the next 16 hours. With only two regions left, the Turks are under a threat of being erased and losing hundreds of companies. If the Greeks do decide to continue their offence, American will not be able to land swap through owing to Greece’s MPP list. The next few days will hopefully clear this situation as alliances become more evident. However the United States will not find it easy getting to the Balkans especially considering how unclear alliances are at this current time.

India in tatters as China attacks Indonesia

India, a country which has had a history of being major countries play toys, is once again the scene for two major powers to battle in the search of dominance and raw materials. China were first to attack with multiple successes until Indonesia were able to hold Andhra Pradesh and take momentum only for China to hold Karnataka to regain the momentum. They have once again attack Andhra Pradesh and have taken all 7 mini battles. China is likely to continue to try and force Indonesia out of India, possibly even pushing for an invasion of Indonesia. This clash is particularly interesting considering both nations were tipped to join PANAM owing to their close relationships with American (for China) and Brazil (for Indonesia).

That is the first edition of “The world today”. I’ll be working on the format over the next few days, tinkering around with a few things. If there are any glaring stories you feel I missed, feel free to comment. Same if any errors are found.
