Join the new world

This eWorld, with its many nations and people, is lacking a certain je ne sais quoi. Though I can understand and certainly accept certain aspects of a bare bones approach to this game - I can also see the need to maybe glitz it up a bit. Even Farm Town lets you have an avatar you can customize. On here, we get upload a picture. About the most exciting thing anyone does on this game, unless they are in some seat of power, is warfare - and even that could stand to be jazzed up.

The only reason why I would argue for any sort of format/visual change would be to keep others interested in the game; I am content with it, but I have a feeling that it could be more attractive to new players. I am sure that I am not alone in my beliefs. However, it is up to the people who run and maintain this game to bring about the change. I think that it is very nice that a game such as this exists - for free - but there is a lot of potential that I feel the designers are overlooking. Of course, they could be working on sprucing the game up, and I have just yet to hear about it.
