The Way of the Guerrilla

Thanks for all the votes, subscriptions and PMs received for the previous article about fighting the economic war.

In today’s issue I’ll add more tips about effective guerrilla warfare for civilians.
If you are trapped in an enemy territory without means to move to your country here is what can be done:
1. Check who your employer really is. Most of the times the companies you are working for are owned by organizations. Visit the page of the organization and check out the donations lists. Take your time. This way you will find out who you are really working for. Look for the citizenship of the individuals donating to or receiving donations from that organization. If you see the organization is donating or receiving donations from another organization go investigate that organization as well.
2. If you discover you work for a PEACE-owned company it’s time to start sabotaging them.
3. You sabotage them by working with as low wellness as possible. This way your productivity is lower than your wage and you drag the enemy-owned company into bankruptcy.
4. First step is to get your health as close to 40 as possible. Starving yourself takes too many days. Look for the list of wars that country is involved in. Look where the official orders tell the population to fight AND DON’T FIGHT THERE unless that is a Resistance War. In which case you should fight for the Red team.
5. If there is no Resistance War going on, choose another battle than the one recommended by the enemy government, preferably one where the wall is still very high, and FIGHT BAREHANDED . If you still have weapons in your inventory, donate them to a friend BEFORE fighting, then get them back through a reverse donation.
6. By fighting in a war on the enemy’s side you will of course fight against the alliance. Luckily if you do so barehanded the damage you do would be minimal. Fighting barehanded cuts the damage in half. The good news is you would have to do it one day only. And you do it so you can get your wellness slightly above 40.
7. Train AFTER you have fought. That achieves two purposes. First it lowers your wellness with one more point before working. So by training before working you decrease your productivity even further and cause a bigger loss to the enemy employers. Second purpose: since every training day increases your strength, you fight against the allies with a lower strength and cause them less damage;
8. As soon as you have finished fighting and training, go and work. You need to be quick because if your employer finds out about your health level you will be fired before ruining him;
9. Most likely the next day you find yourself fired. Excellent, now you can go and screw another enemy company over. The routine is “Train THEN Work”. Since your wellness level is now close to 40, you don’t have to fight one more time against your allies. Just Train to lower whatever wellness you’ve recovered from eating and sleeping and then Work.
10. If your region had a hospital before being conquered chances are that hospital isn’t there anymore. Unless of course the invader spent money to build another one. Always keep in mind you will eventually have to either fight in a Resistance War. Or to return to your country to help the liberation effort. So you MUST be located in a region with a Q5 hospital for when the time comes to fight again. This is why whatever money you make you should save for buying 3 Q1 plane tickets. Why 3? Because you will need the first one to move to any enemy province which has a Q5 hospital. You will need the next 2 to go to your country (or to an allied country if yours is TEMPORARILY obliterated). Since you can’t fly directly to your country or to an allied one as long as it is at war with the enemy country you are in, you will need 2 tickets instead of 1. The first is to fly to a neutral country (say Peru or South Africa) and from there to your final destination.
11. The time has come for you to pack. If you followed the advices so far, you should have 2 tickets in your inventory, some nice amount of local currency in your savings account and the wellness slightly above 40. Look first if there’s any Resistance War going on, so you can fight RED before recovering your wellness to 80+ and leaving. If there’s a Resistance War take advantage of it. Flying twice with Q1 tickets lowers your wellness by 4 points. Which means if you were below 44 when you land you won’t be able to fight for your country. This is why if possible get on the plane with wellness 80+ or 90+.
12. If there’s no Resistance War going on you have 2 options. The first is to fight once barehanded as advised at #5 above then go to the hospital. The second is to buy the highest quality food which would allow you to recover overnight, convert all the local currency in Gold and then take the plane.
13. The wellness recovery formula is Wellness Increase = (1.5 – CurrentWellness/100)*(FoodQuality + HouseQuality). If your wellness is say 42 before the 2 flights (one to a neutral country and one to your final destination) then at arrival your CurrentWellness will be 38 (you lose 2 wellness points for each Q1 flight). If you have no house then HouseQuality =0. Therefore the formula becomes WellnessIncrease = (1.5 – 0.3😎*FoodQuality which means WellnessIncrease = 1.12*FoodQuality. You need a minimum of 40 wellness points in order to fight the next day. So one loaf of bread Q2 should be enough. That’s what you need to buy from the local market before leaving. If your savings are big enough and the Q2 food is cheaper at your final destination convert the local currency in Gold, convert some of it back to the currency at the final destination and buy the Q2 food there. Otherwise buy the Q2 food locally before leaving because converting a small amount of local money to Gold and then back to the destination currency might result in having not enough funds to buy Q2 food there.

Now go get them tiger! It ain't over until the fat EDEN/FORTIS lady sings 😉
