So I sent a ticket to Admin asking them to review this forum poll
and they have responded :

So you see... Many of the people who commented in the Forum Poll were correct: They really don't give a damn what we think or want. Plato has his own agenda and the people that pay their bills have no say in these matters.
Curlybear made this suggestion which I think would be a great idea.

I play on mobile, but this new design is worse to find the battle. I dont talk about filters, they are grate, but layout of big icons is not! For me battle picking was better on old war page.
Changes need to be done.

Yet, this is real lifestate and it happens all the time. Best option is to stop buying if you no longer like the product. But, I don't see that happening.

my friend rican, i agree with you 100%, the old war page was more simple, better and easier to nagivate into.
but sadly the admins+mods will not change it back to the old design, because they call the decisions, and i doubt that they would change it back to the original design, despite the public's demands for the old page layout coming back.
what can i say? its tragic, but true.

The war module is dead anyhow. Does it really mater how it looks?

I sent a ticket also, blah, blah, blah. What worries me is their response says this will allow a "more unified" look. In other words this, and upcoming changes, will be to make the game look more like the crappy mobile version. Which is a joke by the way. There's I reason I force the PC version on my phone. 🤪

They didn't just decide to do this one day, and, I can tell you, there's zero % change they will simply dump the hundreds of development hours just because users have an immediate negative reaction. Not going to happen. That's a rookie move because it makes your users think that they can bully product marketing. Fact is, you don't actually have any say. Trends do all the talking. Quitting or suspending purchases might help a little, but, they'll be looking to see if the fight button is pressed less or more following this change. Heck, I'm sure there are a ton of young players who would be more than happy to see the old timers leave. Honestly, I don't know why erep doesn't do more to piss off its tenured players to get those geezers out of here!

Why don't they fix something that's broke; instead they spend hours on something that is working fine.
The publishing mechanism is a shambles and they ignore it.
Not sure if that is rhetorical or not, but, if not. Easy answer. Its almost always less work to develop a feature than to fix a defect that may be the result of poor initial architecture or design. Make sense? If you start with a flawed design, and then build onto it, and then link that flawed architecture to other features, the change becomes exponentially more complex - to the point where its almost easier to scrap the thing and start over. So then you have to ask yourself. Is Media a revenue generating module? Not really. Its part of the social aspect of the game, for certain, but, this doesn't directly influence your desire to invest money.
