Greetings comrades!

Russia has a long road ahead. Many obstacles must be smashed, many struggles overcome, and many battles triumphed. Our revolution has only begun, and now we go about creating our Socialist paradise in earnest.
A week after elections, the Russian government is still very hard at work in creating a firm foundation in our political Commissariats (or "ministries").
These Commissariats will act as the very foundation for Russia's launch into prosperity, security, and Socialism As of now, three Commissariats have been establishe😛 Industry and Labor, Defense, and Foreign Affairs. On April 3rd, three of our comrades were elected as Commissars to guide and organize each Commissariat:

Commissar of Trade and Industry: Hatebot
Commissar of Defense: Generalissmo
Commissar of Foreign Affairs: Alex Ivanov

Individual newspapers for each Commissariat will be established shortly to give more specific updates on the situation of each.

=== Enlist for Government Positions ===

Russia needs devoted comrades to step up in the name of our glorious revolution! Please send me a PM, or post your application on our forums if you are interested in any of these jobs.

-Commissariat of Defense: We are looking for people to become Red Army Commanders. We are looking at Army Groups for each geographical region in Russia (Eastern Siberia, Caucus Region, Central Asia and Urals, Western Russia, for example). Therefore, Generals will need to be assigned to each region we are creating. All soldiers within the region will further be organized into divisions/regiments at a later date. We will also be considering a Marshal of the Soviet Union position (depending if it overlaps too much with the Commissar of Defense).

-Commissariat of Foreign Affairs: We need diplomats! We are looking to establish embassies with the UK, Sweden, Norway, the US, Ireland, and Romania. A diplomat of Russia is permitted an account on the countries forums and act as a relay between our two countries. Anybody who speaks Swedish, Norwegian or any other language are strongly encouraged for this position.

-Commissariat of Trade and Industry: In the future we will be needing economic planners, labor union leaders and organizers, etc. However, as we are in the middle of getting the GOSPLAN rolling, no positions are open yet. Keep it in mind though!

=== Searching for Peace ===

I have been tirelessly trying to contact the Presidents of Norway and Sweden to discuss our foreign affairs goals together and finally rest our current unease with our northern neighbors. It turns out that they did not receive my first letter due to a bug, and we are currently communicating on the matter. I will be sure to keep Russia posted on this vital concern to our security.
I have also been imploring into furthering our relations with our western friends (UK, Ireland, Netherlands, etc) in establishing a future means of deterrence. In the coming week I will be contacting the leaders of Eastern Europe in perusing a united Eastern Europe alliance.

Let us hope that no imperialist or war mongering capitalist rest is crushing grip on the throat of a Free Peoples Russia; and even if one should, the masses will once again rise up in indignation and unity against imperialist aggression.

=== Giving Russia an edge ===

I have begun our monetary adjustment plan. I am still working out the specifics of foreign exchange, however it has been mostly figured out. Our plan involves controlled inflation, which will undercut foreign companies in our own country, aswell as in our exports.
