The United Netherlands Declare War on Poland

In the past few days, the United Netherlands have been in a bit of unrest. The rapid advance of Spain through France and Poland through Germany is worrying the country as both countries being occupied, aside from being friends of theirs, share borders with the UNL and thus they fear for their own safety as well.
During the battle of Paris the United Netherlands deployed their military to aid in the defence of the city, and today Dutch and Belgians are still fighting alongside the French for the rest of their regions.
Today, funded by Phoenix in order to help out Germany, the UNL have declared war on Poland. This is a risky move seeing how the UNL are a small and weak country. Wallonia is not protected by any MPPs, and while the nation has surprisingly many tanks at its disposal, its military is overall not the strongest.
In other news, the merger with the UK is still being discussed. A referendum on it is to be held in due time, but otherwise there have neither been major advances towards nor any away from the decision yet.

that was stupid move. Many Poles likes Holland and there was no need to change relations between our countries.

They will try to block Poland's efforts in Germany. Unless the Poles, well, they know what to do 😃

problem is, any merger with the UK will just end in failure
Sometimes it is time to show balls, and we haven't done that in a long time. Afaik we weren't on the planning yet but our allies helped us in belgium so when we have a chance to do something back we grab it.
Any merger with eUK is..er...kinda disgrace.

Poland already has an open war with the UK from UK's attack on the USA, merging would be bad since Poland could attack

It's always easy to claim that Poland wouldn't attack us. Your leaders might get some megalomaniac ideas when they are able to easely conquer Germany.
