Recently, the powers that be released a new update on Erepublik features, which involve a level 3 training ground among other things. While the money making skills of Plato and co by implementing these features, have been discussed extensively, this presents an opportunity for TW players, provided that they can use these features to their advantage.

Given below is a comparison of returns obtained from training ground over a given number of days compared with the equivalent level of food and weapons factory:

For the purpose of this report, I assumed the price of gold to be 1900 USD, the cost of level 2 food as 0.84 USD, the cost of level 3 food as 1.28 USD, the cost of level 2 weapons as 9 USD and the cost of level 3 weapons as 14.05 USD.

Analysis:

The free training ground upgrade is a good one, for both old and new players alike, from an economic perspective giving over twice as much returns as the same level of food or weapons factory. A weapons factory gives better returns than a food factory.

Based on this, I recommend the training grounds as a sound economic investment for newer players as well as older players who do not spend RL cash on this game.
