The things that make me smile

Day 997, 19:31 Published in Canada Canada by jbdivinus

Today's article is just a few things about erepublik that still make me smile, that still make the game worth playing. I suppose these things are why I'm still playing this game.

First and foremost, I admire my friends who are still committed to this game, who have proven time and time again that they care for and are willing to sacrifice for the community. These people are some of my oldest erep friends who are still playing, and they include people like TemujinBC and DyceyFarley from the TCO, Acacia Mason of the DAL, and D'Addy Lawrence of the CPF. Each of them has played an important role in my time here, as well as in the lives of many other citizens. Each of them, despite coming from different backgrounds, is an important part of eCanadian life, a part that is appreciated by everyone.

Secondly, I smile every time I see a good article in the media, especially from players who don't write very often. Paul Elliott is a new old player, writing quality articles. DevilCarrier writes an incredible CPF series which I look forward to every day, and there are many other great writers, whose articles I am anxious to read every time I log on. In fact, the first thing I do at my logins is check the top and recent articles, read them and go through all the comments.

Finally, (though there is so much more) IRC chats with everyone, especially people like Sideswipe, TaiwanPanda, and more, are an awesome way to spend the time. Seeing everyone talking together and communication is probably the best thing about IRC, and the best way to develop our community.

With your comments, why don't you think about a few things that make you smile when playing, and share them with everyone else?

Thank you,
Jbdivinus.

PS: If I am still around in two or three weeks, I'm going to be picking up my newspaper, awesome format, serious articles, etc... if you want to help out with that, send me a pm.

PPS: I love derek harland

PPPS: but not as much as I love Coda.

PPPPS: there are so many more people who's names aren't on here...but I was just talking about the last few days, and I was tired and missed a lot of people. You're all awesome.
