The talk of Quebec separating, should it cool down?

There have been articles after articles of Quebec separating from eCanada. All these articles arguing back and forth about the issue are just adding to the fire and anger between both sides. Both sides accusing each other of treason and other accusations.
But both sides are getting no where. Just more resentment from opposing sides. I myself am against the separation, but I also do not speak french and am not entirely aware of their anger at issues such as the media being predominantly English. Although I do understand what they mean. If the news was mostly french then I would be using the google translator a lot... Or I would just move to an English speaking country. But with my current money situation cannot afford a moving ticket anyways.
I think if the French want to post articles about what they feel would be better for them, then we as English speaking citizens need to respect what they are saying and not post bad comments about their ideas in their articles. Instead of bashing each other, we should try to solve the situation at hand. If anyone feels that I am bashing their beliefs, then I apologize and I did not intend for that to happen.
But I do agree with what was said in another article... Why is everyone taking it so seriously? We just need to calm down and take a break. If we talk constructively I am sure something can be worked out. Calling each other this and that will not do anything but fuel the fire and hate even more between both sides.

This is just rediculous. I understand/respect the real-life situation, but it has absolutely no place in ER.
I will discuss this with my party - but seriously, at this stage I can surely declare that CSD is pro-united Canada. This is a game with parameters, and having 1 region go independant is a. Impossible b. Hurts both Canada & Quebec.
Has anyone counted how many separatists there actually are? I counted 3. Why should we negotiate with 3 people. 3 people does not equal a minority or a movement, it equals a cell. A cell of individuals who have asked countries like France and Pakistan to break up Canada.

I actually see everybody against, every major party, even the minor parties. In fact i would be surprised if you could dig up more than 10 Canadians to support you, even if you really tried. Thats less than 2% of the population.

Everyone in Quebec is not French, you don\'t seem to understand this. Simply by residing in Quebec does not make you French.

Tyranny comes in many forms, it is not your methods that are tyrannical (well actually yes, it is your methods too) it is your end goals. Quebec is for all peoples, no matter what language they speak. You can hold all the referendums you like but regardless of what happens this President isn\'t letting Quebec go anywhere and neither will Tantis in September. If I hold a referendum to kill all Inuits and and 99% of the people vote to kill them all, does that make killing all Inuits ok? I think not. Same goes for your \"referendum\". If you vote for Quebec to leave for eFrance because you don\'t speak English, does that mean English speakers in Quebec can vote to rejoin Canada because they don\'t speak French? They have as many rights as you do. That is why you are the tyrant, because you don\'t want equality, you just want the \"oppressed\" to become the \"oppressor\".
I think everyone needs to look at the reality of this situation. The province of Quebec cannot currently separate peacefully, there is no function to allow this. They can only be removed from Canada militarily, and currently only by the US.
If the worst comes to pass, and the separatists have help from Pakistan to take over Canada, the whole country will suffer and everyone looses. The separatists don\'t have enough people to run the country without help, and I can\'t see too many others wanting to be very helpful in that situation. Also there\'s a good chance that whom ever leads this take over will be seen as no better than the fellow that took over Ireland.
Canadians should be ashamed of themselves , playing separatism in E-Canada as well. All this separatism has brought nothing but economic slow down to Quebec, CUT THE CRAP
I, for one, appeal to calm down the negociations as well. I would also like to see your president actually care about this issue.
There will never be any negotiations, so your kinda going to have to slink back to Pakistan.

Eric of course eCanada is different in RL Canada. We have never treated French Speakers badly. In fact we enjoyed the support of French Mercenaries during the CanAm War I have one question for you Eric... Why have you waited until now to air your grievances? You have been a member of our nation since June 15th and you choose now to call for separation. Why?
Maybe the need of power or the man who tried to create a independant Quebec?
