The Sky is Failing!
MisterBeefhead
Ok you got me, the sky isn't really failing. Its more a massive democracy fail.
Its not everyday a unity candidate is chosen by the PTO, but that's what we've got here. And it all sounds reasonable, we front a candidate who the PTO finds reasonable, we get someone who cares about NZ as president. This is the kind of idea the people of NZ might have supported. If you had asked them. By ask, I mean use the power of "democracy" to take a forum vote. Instead, your asking us to place a huge amount of trust in the provisional government. Trust that one day we will have an actual democracy. Nothing about this selection reassures us.
I support Calbe for president. I support the provisional government. You guys have done a dangerously bad job handling this.

What?? English please
?
I think he's pointing out the lack of a vote to support Calbe. No one really voted, they just decided collectively to support Calbe (the party presidents).
Of course we'll vote for Calbe. For three reasons:
1. It's our right, and our duty.
2. Calbe is cool guy, and did a lot for our NZ.
3. Because 5 XP.
Best job offers!!

xDDD lol

well, i do not have anything against the prov.gov, but this consensus between parties and PTO/ATO parties make us worried!!
i trust calbe, but by this manner of managing things it looks like we will postpone democracy for another month in favour of Prov.gov.bis
well, if nobody is against mr. Calbe it looks like there is no PTO. as simple as that..))
@ion: or there is union between two PTOers 🙂 lets wait and see may be there is no PTO after all, may be
I don't like the way this was handled one bit. And does not look promising for a democratic future.
Never satisfied?
I'll be satisfied when there is actually a democracy here.
Democracy takes place when you actually vote for the person, not when a vote is made on a third party forum under the control of a batshit crazy person (Bass).
Democracy also took place when the party presidents, elected by others, chose which one to support, the choice being made by those aforementioned elected individuals, whom the voters had entrusted their future in.
In other words, this is democracy, whether you want to whine and moan about it or not.
Only you can save us Adam Reese! Adam Reese for president!
Haters gonna hate....
There's still an election between Calbe and Gauis. Let's see how many votes Calbel will get
I'm guessing that a lot of the parties picked a unity candidate in the assumption that a serb would be running.
It hasn't happened so we're left with one overwhelming favourite to be president.
If you don't like it then you can either vote for the other guy or look to take a more active role by running for PP next time.
