Join the new world

I joined erepublik on Feb 11, 2009. I have not played the game at all in at least 3 years. However, I am back now.

I am totally out of place right now. The game mechanics have changed, the rules have changed, and there are only a few of my friends left from long ago to help me back on my feet. I am a ghost.

I was not a ghost in my time, however. I was a long-standing German Ambassador and Congressperson. I was a top leader of the Bundeswehr during the Third Sweden-Germany War and Party President for the German FDD (which is no more now). The legacy that me and fellow AustroGermans left is now Germark. Sweden's uncalled aggression destroyed my nation and contributed to the fall of Atlantis.

I had over 350 friends when I left. Almost every single one is now dead. 26 subscribers... I look forward to hearing from them if they are reading this!

In any case I am starting to rebuild myself. I'm starting to learn the new rules of the game and make a few friends. I moved to eAmerica at the end of the war and got citizenship. I picked the eUS for a variety of reasons. I'm more than a little disappointed that eGermany is under occupation, after all the countless hours we spent trying and succeeding when I left, to keep her in one piece. The language issue was also a factor, as the eUS is English speaking. Finally, I am an American Soldier in real life. I look forward to helping contribute to and become a valuable member of the eUS.

Next on my to-do list is pick a political party to join... I hope to take a stab at getting into congress in the next election.
