The relation between growing prices and Credit Card Heroes
CUMEOH G
Hello dear readers,
Today I would like to share some thoughts I have on the relation between growing prices and Credit Card Heroes. Looking at the open market theory, which is regulating the eRepublik market, we can easily agree that as more production has to be sold than lower prices would be offered. Lately we observe fast growing prices on practically every kind of goods, excluding traveling tickets maybe.
There could be few reasons for that situation.
1. Growing amount of eRep population, that is using more goods related to the daily production.
Looking at the statistics it could be said that the eWorld population has decreasing tendency in general, although happens some new players join the game. However, newborns doesn't have any motivation to fight, since they can have nothing from that, therefore big amounts of products they are unable to consume.
2. Upcoming event.
It is true that the day 4000 and the eRep birthday are closer and closer, but there is still almost 1 month until this happen. It is too early to expect mass preparation, especially keeping in mind it is still unknown what the events are going to be about, what products will be more needed.
3. Production oriented players are quitting the game.
Well, having such a situation the rapid prices increase is much more than logical. The main trend of the game is military, therefore most of the players are military oriented, they prefer to fight. In order to produce goods it is needed to spend a high amount of Health Points (HP), therefore the amount of fighting fun, when someone is producing is much fewer.
However, there are still players that are not really interested in fighting, but building production (economy) empire. To do so, it is needed gold and as we all know the amount of gold that can be bought from the market is limited - 10 per day. What are the other options??? Medals, medal and only Medals unfortunately! I'm not writing about purchasing gold and packs, since I don't find using mommy's credit card, or spending euros that can be used for having something real in the real life as a way to proudly "win" the game. It is the way of those, who are looking for easy show off and are probably unable to create a good strategy, being part of the PLYTOS plan of the destruction and inequality. Those are usually more interested in pixels gaining through the battlefield, instead of working as manager, calculating the outcomes and incomes and so on.
So what is wrong with the medals? Actually the PLYTOS Greed and the actions of many of his supporters, so called Credit Card Heroes. Those unfair players, are likely to dishonor the efforts of others. They don't respect anything and anyone, excluding those who are similar to them (with activated packs) and in the same time more powerful. In this way I think many normal players, that prefer having real and fair competition - especially the producers, but not only, are getting pissed off and just "forget" to open the game or even delete the account.
It is important to notice, that not all of the PLYTOS supporters are rats. There are really great players, who understand the importance to have more others playing the game and the idea of multiplayer - the bases of eRepublik. Those are actually worth to be respected and can be called community keepers and real Heroes.
With that said, it can be concluded that the actions of the Credit Card Heroes which demotivate others are fundamental for the current market situation. There are fewer managers, even less workers, therefore the salaries grow and the prices just follow the process. What can be further expected? The population of the game will continue decrease, but the positive is that those Credit Card Heroes will get less and less for the each Euro they spend.

Oraz dzięki za wsparcie!
Speculation? Romper buying tanks to have the minimum of 10k of them - no matter the cost?
Romper is producing goods. I can't be sure what exactly, but hi is a very big and long term player. There are not many fighters doing that, since they prefer other stuff. Actually, I haven't seen him to play unfair or arrogant, thus he might be from those player that really care about the game and it's future.
Romper was figure of speech. It could be Mithrantir or other mid-sized tanks.
He gained 150k exp in two days = 150k fights = 15k tanks.
The point is - there is a level when you cannot produce enough tanks for how much you fight.
I could see the world where simply 5% of people sell less tanks because they predict tanks going up (4k and such), prices go up, more people sit on their ttanks because prices are going up etc.
This and the opposite effect from players who do not have any tanks (buy a little more because tanks are going up).
I bought 1k tanks for 67cc when they started going up - possibly the biggest stash of mine ever.
My friend stopped selling tanks in hope for prices reaching even 100cc.
It could still be started by speculation (or simple large scale shopping) - started by few - that snowballed out of control.
Average gold-bh farmer like Alexandra the Great did 183k exp in last 30 days = that could be about 6000+ exp/day and ~600 tanks/day.
Does he has 30 WQ7 companies? And what if he suddenly burns off his EBs (or spends gold on super promo for temp EBs for 1g/E😎?
Yes, there is of course such a face of the game. Actually my point is very similar to your's - Fighters need production oriented players, in order to continue their military ambitions. However, in order to improve the production abilities, it is needed gold. Whenever fighters disregard the efforts of producers for BH, it influence the growing prices and discourage such players. Alexandra the Great is a perfect example of such game killer, since I also have some observations of her behavior.
