Welcome to the first of what I hope to be many articles in this new newspaper. Like our description says, this newspaper is completely supportive of all Australian independence movements, no matter how great or small, how peaceful or extreme (within reason!). Being new to this game, I don't have much experience in journalism or playing in general, but I hope to become an active part in this world. There is not much to say in this first article, except I strongly encourage all to join and vote for the Australian United Party! This group is our only political party and needs as much support as possible if we are to democratically reclaim our independence. I highly recommend all player make that two-minute effort once a month to vote to the Australian United Party.

Oh, if you're wondering why this is the 'Red' Republican, it's because 'The Republican' was already taken, and I like the colour red. I thought it sounded okay 'The Red Republican.' Yeah, no much to it really....
