The Revolutionary Red Army Digs in and clashes with the Norwegian Blitzkrieg!

At 600 hours, 6 mechanized infantry divisions and 3 armored divisions from the Northern Army Group dug in along our Northern border to meet the Norwegian Blitzkrieg head on.

St. Petersburg: Heavy defenses were set up from the gulf of Finland, to Lake Ladoga, and to Lake Onega... the main route of the Norwegian push.
The defense of St. Petersburg was aided by the revolutionary citizens of the region. With their help, the Peoples' Red Army quickly built strings of trenches, crude bunkers, and additional fortifications along this stretch. 2 divisions of T-90 MBT battle tanks (aided by 12 batteries of artillery) established themselves between the three bodies of water. Our brave comrades used the marshy bogs of the region to grind the enemy down in the face of hot lead.

As Wave after wave of Norwegians charged blindly at our well placed fortifications, our soldiers soon noticed how ill equipped our Imperialist foes are. Norwegian soldiers are only rationed 3 shots a day, and most of them must rely on using their bayonets (or even pointy rocks). The Norwegians have no armor support. Instead, they use horses and mules.

However, not even our well equipped and battle hardened troops could not stand against hundreds of wages of Norwegian soldiers. After nearly 8 hours of intensive bombardment, the Norwegian hoards soon overwhelmed our defenses and our comrades took their stand in the streets of St. Petersburg. Heavy street fighting still continues, inflicting horrendous losses to the numerous, yet inferior Viking hoards. The women and children of St. Petersburg have been evacuated to Siberia in order to prevent the bloodthirsty Vikings from slaughtering innocents.

Archangel: The battle of Archangel did not as well for our Red Army. 3 infantry divisions and 2 tank divisions were stretched through the long border, and the Norwegian Imperialists were able to penetrate the front lines. Under the orders of the Soviet High Command, the armored divisions headed south to the country side of Belomorsk while the infantry divisions remained in the boggy quagmire to the north to help partisan Russian forces harass and maim enemy forces. Norwegian casualties are enourmous, as the cold Russian winter and brave deeds of our citizens and soldiers of the Revolution continue to bring hot death upon our foes.
Reports are coming in of a surrounded regiment in Murmansk where our brave soldiers make their last stand against the Imperialist hoards.

Hope! Each day, dozens of trucks filled with foreign soldiers roll into the Northern Army Group HQ to be sent to the front lines to combat our Imperialist foes. Socialist Brigades from Iran, Indonesia, Ireland, and even Sweden have taken their posts in the trenches beside their Russian revolutionary comrades. Each day our rank swells with the fresh faces of eager soldiers ready to give their lives for our freedom. From the boggy stretch from the border to St. Petersburg (bordered by the Sea of Finland and Lake Ladoga), a task force of Indonesian special forces flanked and surrounded 3 infantry divisions of Norwegian Imperialists, allowing our armor to rush forward and crush our foes. Norwegian fatalities were listed in the thousands.

Even though our Revolutionary Red Army is better equipped, better trained, and better prepared... our forces are still struggling to contend with the overwhelming amount of Norwegian barbarians rapping at our door. Though our forces have been pushed back, the amount of Norwegian casualties at our door has been staggering. There is little the Viking overlord, forconin, can do but send wave after wave of disposable Norwegian henchmen, armed with only rocks and sticks, to our righteous gates of freedom and socialism.
