The problem with eCanada?
People always trying to make a scandal out of everything, even if there is no material for it. Why? Because they want their 3 hours of glory, or just want to piss off some people. Trolling is definitely a possibility.
How to recognize this kind of troublemaker?
They will usually whine about something, mostly under the cover of "democracy" and "people wanting x". Mostly without proofs. If there ARE proofs, check to see if they are reliable.
How to avoid being trapped?
Simple. When an article seems to be of this kind to you, you just need to press on the small button with a drawing of an house. Alternately, you can directly go to your next destination or close the computer.
Now, concentrate on having fun! after all, this is just a game 😉

I thought you were gonna go the Braveheart route and say "The problem with eCanada, is that its full of eCanadians". Of course in Braveheart the Kings says "The problem with Scotland is that is full Scots" and I tried to find a youtube link but I was unsuccessful.

Yeah, we do make things more complicated than they really need to be. It is sometimes hard to tell if people like Lavis are aiming at constructive criticism by pointing out inconsistencies in the way we do things. Or, if he's just being a dirt-digging journalist who either wants to score political points or some more subs.
I like to think it's a little of both. A good story makes good reading. Good criticism is worth discussing. Long live the media module!
The question I always ask: Why do people feels they need to mess with everybody's efforts just to enjoy their little themselves? It's just quite stupid, imo.

Important issue are relative. We just don't share the same values and don't have the same point of view. Doesn't mean that the discussion or the points raised are irrelevant. Discussion show that people actually try to change what they think is wrong in eCanada. Maybe in your CAF world everything is fine for you Jsboutin, but not all citizen are CAF members.
And try to question the motivation behind the issues of what those "troublemakers" are putting forward just show to me that you are lacking of argument regarding the debate and actually just try to push it aside.
I didn't raise the issue about the Funding Cap before I wanted my "3 heures de gloire". In fact, I have lost a lot in trying to denounce what I think need to be fix.
Contradictory discussion are good for any society that look move forward.
(But, hey, now I'm in eFrance, I guess my opinion doesn't worth anything. : P)

You know, max, it is not that I'm short on arguments, it's just that the people whom I am discussing against are always using the same friggin argument over and over and never accept to bypass it.
