The Pretorian Vanguard
South African Armed Forces
In Gabriel's government I have been appointed the new Commander of the Pretorian Vanguard (PV). I hope that I will be able to serve my countrymen well. I have appointed Ines Schumacher as my deputy.
As my first call of duty I want to share a little about how this unit and its various platoons work. The PV is primarily a homeland security force for eSA. Unlike the Paratroopers who are offered government-sponsored moving tickets (MTs) to fight in various battles around the eWorld in order to gain experience, the PV is primarily meant to be here in eSA in case of a attack.
This does not mean that you cannot go and fight in Wars and RWs but it is strongly suggested that you purchase one MT so if an attempted invasion of eSA happens you will have the means to return and fight. Also, when in South Africa it is advisable that you set up residence in Gauteng. I say this because Gauteng has a Q4 hospital. So in times of battle, fight 4 times (equal to the hospitals quality) and heal. You can also sign up with the eSouth Africa Health Center in advance to receive 10 wellness (one extra battle a day) once a war starts.
The South African Armed Forces will try its utmost to supply gifts and weapons to those who need it but it is important for you to ask. If you don’t ask then you won’t get. If you are earning well and can afford the above items then rather don’t ask. Let the items go to those who really need them.
Keep an eye on the USA vs Ireland (WAR GAME) conflict. We have a Mutual Protection Pact with the USA so you will be able to fight without even leaving home.
Lastly, I would like to point out that during this time of great tribulation it is important for citizens to stay active. We narrowly escaped a Political Takeover and we can expect more. eSA is resilient but nothing can be achieved without the undying patriotism of our citizens.
Everyone who has signed up for the PV, please subscribe to this paper. There will be more to come.
Thanks
Mark Morcom

I like how we are going fourth with our military but I dont want to see us drawing up a new military every month or two, it gets confusing which one we are actually going with.
Ryan, this is not a new military. It worked well during the Jizzie administration and I hope to develop it more during the Gabriel administration.
The Para's are a totally different thing as the article explains
Is the PV the same thing as SAAF? Alot of people have become confused by that.
Yeah SAAF was renamed the Pretorian Vanguard about a month ago.
@Ryan: The Military has simply changed it's name to a distinguishable name, and one that relates to eSA without being boring...Also the military will probably be constantly updated and reformed especially as it expands...
I hope there will be more conflicts, sadly I'm too low level to fight!
Is there any application I need to fill out for join the Pretorian Vanguard? Or requirements to joining?
Perhaps that should have been included
Romanians are cheating again 🙁

Applications to the PV are closed currently. If you need help contact the eSouth Africa Health Center. Just because you are not part of the PV does not mean you can't be involved. Make the South African Armed Forces a friend and watch the shout box for orders
@SAAF/PV You should clarify why the applications are currently on hold
We are working on it. The initial plan for the PV was 50 people, which is what we have. We are discussing how to go forward in a manner that is still manageable.
Hope this clears a bit up.
