Polish speciality no. 1 : Spicy sausages, made from beef, pigmeat and chicken.

Polish speciality no. 2 : Barszcz (bietensoep) with potatoes and vegetables.

Polish speciality no. 3 : Bigos (jachtsoep) with bacon, sausage and mushrooms.

Polish speciality no. 4 : Golabki, minced meat rolls in cabbage leafs.

Polish speciality no. 5 : Makoviec, sweet pastry eaten around the holidays.

Best enjoyed while it’s still fresh...

Polish "specialty" food has always seemed a bit dodgy to me. Though the Makoviec looks tasty! What's that in its middle - if its some form of chocolate and not raisins or currants then I might be tempted to try a piece!
