Polish speciality no. 3 : Bigos (jachtsoep) with bacon, sausage and mushrooms.
Polish speciality no. 4 : Golabki, minced meat rolls in cabbage leafs.
Polish speciality no. 5 : Makoviec, sweet pastry eaten around the holidays.

They don't have taste for color and food meh
Polish "specialty" food has always seemed a bit dodgy to me. Though the Makoviec looks tasty! What's that in its middle - if its some form of chocolate and not raisins or currants then I might be tempted to try a piece!
I suggest you burn the food.
You know... to be safe.
Some friends of my ate that bietensoep once in Poland. They had to puke.
