I have been playing this game since September of 2010. A short time by some standards, a long time by others. But in the months between September and now, I have certainly seen many changes happen to this game.

Regardless of my opinion of those changes (some I thought were good, other's I did not understand), there is one thing that I have always thought was true.

If you make this game very complex and dysfunctional, this community will find a way to make it work, and this community will thrive.

If you make this game too simple, you risk creating a very stable and functional game that has no where near the same community involvement.

This game is truly amazing. It truly is a huge social strategy game with many interesting facets. And the community it incubates is one to be proud of.

Our community (the one that includes players and administration alike) must realize that the aspects of the game that we struggle against, are the aspects that challenge and entertain us also. We must realize that when changes do happen, they provide challenges and opportunities for us to overcome. These changes are a part of the game itself. I hope that one day, this game will take on changes that will make it very complex and intricate, but in the meantime, I hope to enjoy the challenge presented by overcoming new features and rules in the game.
