Yes here I am writing about a non- sexy topic, taxes. As you all know everyone in the eNL pay taxes. You are taxed when you work, and taxed when you sell your products on the money market.

You may ask yourself where all this money is going too. The primary function of your taxes is to pay for MPPs (mutual protection packs), military, and subsidies, and a number of other things. However since the admins of the game changed the economy system, they have been forced to print more and more money in order to get the excess production off of the markets. This has resulted from our currency falling from 0.016 to the current 0.001.

In truth however our currency is worth much less than 0.001 At the recent rate of around 1gold = 1400 the rate is around 0.0007. So basically your NLG is worthless.

In order to fix this, a number of Finance ministers form Iron and Wine have proposed towards congress to raising the tax rate in order to get this extreme excess of NLG out of the market. What this would mean is that you would get less income in NLG per day. However what you would get is that your NLG would start becoming worth more.

What would we do with the NLG collected from taxes?

Well basically we would put it in the state bank (DN😎 and not touch it.
The result would mean that prices for products would rise, allowing the money printing BOT to end its overproduction of NLG since, the nlg prices would rise. It would also force away foreigners who are profiting from the extreme low exchange rate.

In the end we believe that this plan would result in a stronger economy.
