The Northeast Needs More Vyse - But Some AT Will Do.

Day 581, 16:19 Published in Ireland Ireland by Aran Tal

My Dear Friends and Countrymen,

I am writing briefly to put forward my candidature for re-election to Congress, but for the first time I am running in a region with a relatively high population, thanks in no small part to the Hospital which I shepherded through congress and was bought not so long ago, the Northeast.

Giving the hospital donkey a few kicks and ultimately succeeding in locating a Q5 in Ireland was my most obvious achievement last term, but I cannot in good faith take all the credit for it. The initiative has existed on manifestos both successful and unsuccessful for as long as I've been playing, but it just needed some prodding. The help of the 100 gold gift from the USA and many other talented and dedicated individuals who made sure the debate was rounded and succinct have given us in the Northeast a vital tool for training, productivity, and the continued sustained growth in the eIrish military and economy.

For those of you who don't know who I am, my name is Aran Tal. For the last two months I have been a TD for the Northwest, I have served as Deputy Minister of Defence, Acting Minister of Defence, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and the founding Commanding Officer of the high-force second division of the Irish Defence Forces. I run a small grain company in Hungary, and, through a high impact press and lobbying campaign was one of those responsible for pressuring the Admins into finally developing the citizenship module, due to arrive soon.

I have been a member of the ISRP for months and recently ran for the office of Vice-President of Ireland. This may have been foolish, as despite my widely respected experience in military affairs I was overlooked for MoD, dismissed as a CO, removed from the war-council and given a token post at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

When I campaigned for VP, I put great stress on the importance of integrity and transparency, of seeking new opinions and trusting Ireland's citizens. Sadly it seems that this administration is more concerned with placating the citizens of the FORTIS alliance, which I have publicly opposed alongside the highly respected veterans Eamon_de Valera and Michael Collins, and international sycophancy than with looking after Ireland. From within congress I will continue to fight this attitude and, by means of inclusion and trust, help bring Ireland's best interests forward and address the real needs of today, not a halcyon vision of the future.

The only way way to get where we need to go is to go there together.
