Sad but true. We can't revive the forum when we don't have a community to do it. All what we have now are just bunch of different groups of people sticking together due to various (rl) reasons, with low chances of creating a unified community, which we need to keep forum alive.
Its kinda true but eJapan is slowly waking up. So its worth trying
Well I gave my best to try to boost some activity, unfortunately without any big success, so I'm leaving the reveal of the forum to new/fresh/young hopes. May the Force be with you xDD
Just to let you know, we've actually managed to come quite far during these past months. I have seen eJapan showing the same signs of progress as eNorway did earlier this year when its community went from slumber to full activity after 2-3 months of hard work 🙂
Waking up, I don't thinks so. Just look at our media, which is the first indicator of activity or inactivity of a certain community....everyday they're less and less articles and unfortunately for us this trend still continues to rise instead of decreasing. So how are we supposed to save the forum when we can't even save our own media from demise? Forum can't survive unless we as a whole community accept it as a part of Japan ( although it's not the official part of this game ), and registering to it as desirable ( necessarily ) act not something you can do but you're not required to do ( register ) because you want miss anything regarding Japan. We lost too many valuable community members ( active both in-game and on forum ) these past months from what we will probably never going to recover.
Even esim community of Japan isn't active on that forum.
In the worst case scenario we can always use free solutions for making forum from scratch.
not sure if you're blind or just have failed to notice, but the community is actually filled with more non-governmental and serbian/hungarian articles now than before, while the number of articles being released are so many now that you need at least 10-15 votes to even get it on the "front page" of news articles. Before we were lucky to get one or two articles in English each day. Now I believe the average to be around 3 English articles each day.
When it comes to the forum, I can tell you that even though the activity in general in eNorway went up, the forum was more or less just as dead as always. The reason why eJapan's forum is so dead is because people don't really care anymore and a lot are just two-clicking because they find the game boring. To many of these guys it probably doesn't even matter how active and united eJapan is, as they won't bother with the game anyway and just go with the flow.
blind??? lol that was a good one xD
I have been here for almost 2 years now so I think I can judge more about the state of our media than someone who has just came here few months ago. I don't count articles from entertainment section as a relevant proof that our media is starting to wake up, people can always "spam", or publish some non relevant articles. If you look the other sections you'll see the real state of affairs ( no published articles for weeks/months !!! ). Don't get me wrong, I would like forum to be more active but I think that is mission impossible, it's exactly as you said for the forum, and as I said before, I leave it to the young ones to try and do their best.
I went to the forum once and it gave my computer cancer.

How much does the forums cost to keep? I'll take over payments to keep what we have. It might be to quiet to use now but who knows how active eJapan can be in the future.

lets all help wake up eJapan
