The last mayor of Brno

Day 304, 12:21 Published in Czech Republic Czech Republic by Artur Fabre

First of all I would like to thanks to our President/ party leader Mr. Ivan Hat, and to our party United Slavs for their decision of appointing me as a candidate for mayor of the Moravian region.

I am very glad that the party which brought a two months period of sustainable growth to eCzech Republic has shown me this honor.

Why I am talking about honor?
The reason is simple: this is probably the last time when mayors are elected. The developers of this game have decide that in the near V1 future is no need for this position. Their argument is based upon a mere fact: the power of mayors is now very limited. I personally agree with them, and this argument sounds more authentic on the background of our country. The amount of gold in regional treasuries can not reach the horrible sum for importing hospitals, and the strategy of forming an own national company for building them is overreaching the regional area.

For all that at the moment (and I hope that will be different in the future) the position of mayors especially in eCzech is only an honorable title. A honorable title for a man who has to face criticism on things that he cannot even change.

Ladies and gentleman honorable titles should be given to honest people. Therefore I am not going to lie- no I can't build a hospital. Nobody, except our President, can do that. No I am not gifting people, because I don't want to rise the regional taxes. No I am not going to talk about nationality of other candidates. No I am not going to spam, and cry for this position as a child scrambling for a useless but glittering toy........ And no I can't even properly orate in English

And at last: I am very sad that any of this well informed and best of the best mayor candidates didn't take the little time to sign a simple petition to save and extend the power of mayors in V1. http://www.erepublik.com/forum-topic-75452.html

This was my first and last article in this local election campaign.

Good luck in the election.
