Join the new world

Sorry this article is so late after the last congressional election. Losing the congressional elections for the third consecutive time got me annoyed at eRepublik for a bit, and some RL stuff came up.

I lost the election by one vote (I actually neede two votes because my opponet had more Experience Points than me). This is partially my fault and partially bad luck/other peoples fault.

The reason why it is my fault I lost the election:
-Most of the messages I sent out to people were on the day of the election instead of in advance.

The reason why it is other people's fault/bad luck:
-I sent out three sets of moving tickets and gifts, and had at least two other people say they would vote for me. This means I should have gotten 5 votes from others and one from myself, for a total of six votes. I would have won if I had six votes. I somehow only got three.

In the future, I will be sending out many messages in advance (at least 2 or 3 days before hand.) I will also be sending out messages the day before the election to those who responded to my previous messages to remind them to vote for me. For anyone else running for Congress, I suggest you do the same.

Anyway, I would like to thank those who did vote for me, along with John Largo (For the Honorable mention endorsement) and the Leaders of TAMA, the Umbrella Research Party, and the Technocratic Party.
