The Impeachment Procedings

Day 1,586, 13:28 Published in USA USA by Mr. Peanuts
I will do my best to be as honest and clear with the facts, however I do wish to discuss my view of this issue so opinion will permeate throughout this article as well.

In case you are unaware, there were some congress people who proposed the impeachment of current President Oblige. There was a healthy discussion about concerns surrounding the President.

I find these concerns to be legitimate, but not impeachable offenses.

Oblige ordered members of the military to vote a certain way in the most recent PP election.

It is not the right thing to do but not illegal. I believe that it is not out of his bounds to do this as present, although I believe that it should be. I must uphold the law as how it is, and not how it ought to be, and so I decided this was not and impeachable offense.

As for his actions in TERRA regarding Chile, the same is true, I do not like what he has done in recent weeks, however, I could not see any reason why it was illegal for him to do such things, therefore, not impeachable.

For the record, as I deemed the president's actions and decisions unfortunate and poor, however not impeachable, I voted No on the vote.

It is the same set of laws and principles that allowed for the discussion of the matter in the way that it was done.

Regarding the proceedings, is my belief that everyone involved acted in a legitimate fashion. We should move foreword from this and not try to fight about what has happened. If you do not like the law as it is, then work to change it. I have learned a lot about the constitution and code of the eUS through this ordeal and I have indeed seen things that I do not like. I want to work to change the laws for the better in the future.
