The mobile app sucks. Everyone probably knows this. But my first question after three days of playing is: why?

There is no option to join a political party in the mobile app. The elections are completely broken. There is no opportunity to build your own companies and work in them. Production and deployment reports do not display properly. Everything is broken. The only function that works is the military one.

My first idea was that the developers decided to use Google Play only as an advertising platform. It makes sense. Three days ago I started playing eRepublik because I saw the game in the app store. Nothing complicated. Thanks to the game old-timers, I quickly switched to the browser version.

But what kind of advertising is this? If the military system in the game is, frankly speaking, quite mediocre?

Many parts of this game are broken/not complete. The publishing module (this) is a prime example there are better editing facilities on the forum!
Also bugged is the air weapons attachment.

Welcome and thanks. I prefer to use the browser but that is not always possible. My occasional accidents with messing up on overhits in battles are related to the clumsiness of setting deployments on the mobile app. It is easier to be accurate with a browser and trackpad/mouse.

Yeah I tried the app once, gave up in about 5 minutes.

But then again I'm an old-timer who joined before the app even existing.

I mean their API has been broken for literally over a decade. And that's something they could fix in an hour or 2. So something as time-consuming as the app, no chance of them fixing it.

Agreed. Doesn't bring them any additional money, but costs them time and resource, so they won't care. I get it from a business perspective, but still sucks.

A good app could actually bring more players in.
