Join the new world

I hit level 9 today. As most of us know, that means I'm eligible to start/buy a company. Alas, as most of us also know, one needs gold. 20 gold, at least.

I'm a little short. By at least 18 gold. Mind you, it didn't come as a shock. I knew when I started the newspaper that I would be taking away from funds that could be used to start a company. So, what does one such as myself do at times like this? I could wait and save up until a few months down the line I have enough gold. OR!! I could start the Greyhound Initiative.

What is the Greyhound Initiative? Simple. It's a desperate ploy to get gold!

That's right. I'm using this article to advertise my services. Have you ever felt that you've got too much gold? Need an environmentally friendly way to get rid of it? Well, here I am!

If you're someone who's quitting the game and would otherwise leave the gold to die with your account. Send it here.
If you're someone who has more gold than he/she knows what to do with. Send it here.
If you're joining a monastery/Church/anything which requires you to go poor. Send it here.
If you played the numbers 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42 in the lottery and now think your gold is cursed. Send it here.

But wait, what do you get in return?

Absolutely nothing. Well...that's all there is to it really. This isn't a competition...it's actually more like a charity...but, admittedly, without much of a good cause. The best I can do, honestly, is mention you in the next article.

Which is what I'll do. I'll list your name (if more than one person donates, in order of how much gold was donated). Also, if you want, send me a message with something you'd like to promote...and a link (in-game, obviously). Do you want to promote your company? Country? Your own citizen? Newspaper? Go ahead! I'll put it down. It's the least I could do.

Am I expecting a lot of gold from this desperate attempt? No. No I'm not. Honestly, I'm not expecting anything. But, hey, I'm taking a shot.

The initiative is aimed at receiving gold donations, but, naturally, I won't turn down cash 😛. And you'd still get your name in the paper, obviously, just that gold is preferred 🙂.

I think I've said anything. Here's hoping that someone out there with lots of gold who is thinking about quitting the game, read this article before he decided to quit. The initiative will remain open until I buy a company basically. Which I'll do when I have about 24 - 30 gold in my account.

If nothing else - it would create new jobs and stimulate the economy, hehe.
