The Great Northern Tournament

In my latest artikel "Mysterious Christmas Present" people could join a lottery where there would be drawn 10 winners. But I have had an idea.

Instead of just drawing 10 winners, people will now randomly be placed in a single knockout tournament. Some people will have to fight one more fight than other people and those will be the people with the highest experience level. That means they will get a thougher way to the top.

Instead of 10 winners will there now only be awards to the people who comes into top 8.

The tournament is still open for new contestants until day 2226 03:00 eRepublik time. To join the tournament a citizenship from one of the following countries (Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Norway or Finland) is required.

After the sign up is over there will come an update with the winning prices for the top 8 people and how people have been randomly placed in the tournament. The following day, the tournament starts and each day a round will be played until we have found a winner!

Each battle between people will be decided via http://www.random.org/lists/ where the one of the two contestants who ends up as number 1 on the random list will proceed in the tournament.
