eDate: Day 770 of the New World

The Christmastime Peace has come to an end, and it seems WWIV is reaching a climax. Similarly the country presidential elections have begun to heat up.

The Sun Never Sets on the Gunfire
Today war seems to be dominating the New World. After a slow period, respecting the holidays, World War IV has heated up once more. On this day there have been about 30 active battles all over the new world. Even the people of eIreland got their chance to partake in an actual war; defending our allies eMalaysia.

eCroatia has started an invasion of eSlovenia. eSpain has begun an attack on eItaly, while continuing their invasion of eFrance. eGermany has staged a counter-attack on ePoland, but is also facing invasion from eSweden.. eNorth Korea is making an attempt to regain a region from eHungary. eGreece is facing an invasion from both eTurkey and eBulgaria. eRomania has been invaded by eHungary and eBulgaria. eIndonesia attacked eMalaysia, but was also attacked by the eUS and eChina. Six resistant wars, taking place all over the world, were activated today as well.

The world map is changing drastically, and I can't help but wonder if this war has only just begun.

Where is the Future?
The presidential elections are getting closer, and candidates have begun identifying themselves.
The current candidates listed are:
-Appleman; supported by the ISD
-Moomoohead; supported by the IFP, Saoirse, and the Liberal Party
-Kit Fisto; supported by the IRP
-Theus Jackus; supported by the Labor Party
-Dan Murchadh; supported by the Capitalist Party
-Edana Savage; supported by IV

There are so many paths open for eIreland come January 5th, 2010. I'm excited to see the way we choose to go.
