The Future of the PPP

Day 1,362, 06:03 Published in Philippines Norway by Sigurd Aasen

Hello people of the Philippines and members of the Philippine Progressive Party, I am announcing my candidacy for Party President of the PPP. In this article I shall outline my plans and policies for the party in the upcoming month.

I founded the Philippine Progressive Party in April, succeeding the party BAYAN MUNA, but I feel that after a few months, the party's small burst has died down and now the party is dying. To combat this I want to make a change to the party.

What Do I Want to Change?

Well, essentially an entire overhaul of the party, from its name to the way its structured and run.

Potential Changes

A number of months ago, Keeg, leader of Bayanihan, believed his party had become stagnant and dead. To emphasise this he renamed the party the Philippines Zombie Party. Now recently the Zombie Party has returned to its state of deadness. The political scene in ePhilippines has rapidly dwindled. However, Kilusan ng Makabayang Pilipino has received a huge revival since the election of sansae2 last month. I think that by reforming Bayanihan another political revival can be sparked. The problem, however, lies in the fact that some may not take too kindly to any other party but the Zombie Party becoming Bayanihan.

My potential change would be to turn the party into the Philippine Co-operative Party. Much like the concept of Bayanihan, the party shall be run by its members, who shall decide the policies of the party. The party shall be based on mutual co-operation and unity between members, with all eFilipinos working together to help their country. By working together we can create a more inclusive and fairer nation where the power truly lies in the hands of the citizens.

So remember, vote Sigurd on the 15th and we can turn the PPP around. We can revive politics in ePH and encourage new activity.

Thank you, and good luck to everyone running.
