The Future of The Legion

Thing are changing quickly in the realm of the eUK and the Legion is striving to continue to be the best option for the people. We believe that a healthy, active community is the best possible thing an MU can have. We recently this week began properly using our dedicated forum, opening up many discussions and giving Legionnaires a say in exactly what they want. We are also now opening up a Legion IRC room, not just using #eso. The Regiment Games is also a very exciting game starting very soon!



Did You Know?:

You do not have to be in the ESO party to join the Legion. We are not actually a political MU at all. The Legion is run by different people to the ESO party and we are effectively a private MU run to improve the eUK in anyway we can. The name is a keepsake to our heritage.



Community:

This month, starting on the 15th with the new captain elections we will be running the Regimental Games! Each regiment will be pitting its activity and community against the others to try and come out on top and be crowned Regiment of the Month! There will be a very special prize for every active member of that regiment, all you have to do is win and find out!



Consistency:

Quite frankly, we are the most stable MU out there which has competitive supplies. Not once has the Legion had to lower its supplies, not once have members ended up unpaid for a days work. When we push our supplies forward, they stay forward. We do not rely on one person; we have an extensive network behind the scenes that continue day in day out to make sure that our MU works like a well oiled machine. We are also not elitist, if anyone wants to get involved with the workings of the Legion all you need to do is ask! We are very happy to gain new blood in what ever capacity. Even if you just want to know what is going on, we are happy to reply! We take no government money at all, so even if the CP decides to come along and cut all funding to military aspects or decides something silly like you have to log in to IRC to be considered a part of the MU, he has no authority over us.



Rewards:

The Legion rewards members for getting awards on top of the gold you get just for that little extra Oomph. We have a dedicated team set on rewarding you with Q6 or Q7 tanks (depending on what award it is you get) on completion of the feat! You also get to share your accomplishment with the whole Legion and see how everyone else is progressing!



Welcome Basket:

A very new addition to The Legion is a set welcome basket. We have unofficially given out a nice little starter pack to people who join and post in the feed in the past. We are now introducing an official one! With new super advanced alien technology we now know within the hour when someone joins the MU. We will be sending out a detailed welcome message outlining everything we have to offer as an MU along with a days food and a nice amount of Q7 tanks. We feel you should be rewarded for your good decision! This will be up and running smoothly within a week or so!



Future Supplies:

As I pointed out earlier we probably have the most stable support system in the eUK. I would go as far as to say we are financially in a much better position than any government ran MU could be in the current economic climate. We recently gave our members a choice. Jump right up to 8 Q7s for all current workers but struggle to take on many more. Push for the funds to supply 8 Q7s to over 120 people or to turn on the after burners and really push for higher supplies than that. The support for the future was overwhelming. It seems everyone in the MU sees the advantage of investing in the future and this will simply increase our advantage over other MUs. One promise I have made to all members of the Legion is this: In one month the Legion will have the highest supplies of all MUs which a) Produce competitive damage, b) Give everyone in the MU access to the top tier supplies and c) Is sustainable.

An example of this not working is the Dragoons. They had the joint highest supplies in the eUK and have recently crippled under the strain of this. The Legion can actually afford to supply 7 Q8s to over double the amount of people the Dragoons were, however we will not implement such supplies until we can allow for growth. Within one month I promise you the Legion will be at the top of supplies.

We do not consider this as paying you to come to our MU or to stay in the MU. We see this as rewarding the members who join us for the community with the best tanks there are. Why should you miss out for picking community over tanks?
